Predacon Outcast

Chapter 6.

My ears drooped as everyone stared at me.

"What?" I ask.

"Autobots, keep a sharp optic out for any Decepticons. Above or below ground, we know how they are." Zeta said.

I used my wings to fly off the table and touch the ground, letting out a little yawn. I'm getting tired, well it is almost dark out. Zeta noticed me yawn and came over to me.

"Are you tired?" He asks.

"Uh huh..."

He nods and takes my hand, leading me out of the control room past the other Autobots.

Zeta had taken Springlock back to the vault and put her to bed in her new room, he waited until she was asleep to leave. He closed and locked the vault that night and would return in the morning for her, but for now she was surely safe from any possible attacks. The Prime walked back into the base and would run into Optimus, who was seemingly looking for something.

"Optimus, you seem distracted." He said.

"I am only searching for Springlock, I worry she may have wandered off." Optimus replied.

"Worry not, she is safe. She is currently asleep in the vault."

The second in command stared at him, appearing shocked by his leaders response.

"Why is she in the vault?" He asks.

Zeta placed a servo upon Optimus' shoulderplate, looking around for any other Autobots. The other Autobots were either walking away or going to their rooms, in other words not paying attention.

"The Predacon is unique enough on her own. But she can do something that Cybertron has never seen." Zeta whispered.

"Such as?" Optimus questions.

"She can dispense a substance that can heal your wounds in a matter of seconds, I've witnessed it myself."

His optics widen.

"If the Decepticons were to discover that, they would surely capture her."

"And with word of Starscreams betrayal, I could not take any risks. You understand, don't you?"

Optimus nods, "I do."

"We shall retrieve her in the morning, but for now she is as safe as she could be."

Later that night, a bright purple beam shot out of Iacon. It was from the Energon bridge, NightShade, Starscream and his trine had succeeded in activating it. They all soared out of the chamber before it activated to avoid being blasted full force. They all flew back to the Decepticon capital of Kaon all while Megatron and Soundwave remained on the space station, monitoring the production of Dark Energon.

"All systems online, Dark Energon production levels optimal." Soundwave stated.

"It would seem Starscream is not as useless as I previously thought, now we are able to introduce Dark Energon to our planets core and my power will travel throughout!" Megatron exclaimed.

"Entrance to the planets core is heavily shielded by the Omega gate."

"Then I shall acquire its key. We shall launch a full scale assault on Iacon, and wipe Zeta Prime and his Autobot resistance off the face of the planet!"

Little did they know that there was far more in Iacon than what they bargained for...
