Loca was a big help. She was only fourteen but was very helpful.
She would watch Angel and Noah when I was at work and help me tidy up the house. Of course, in a few months, she would go to school.
It had been only three days since Jack had brought Loca to me.
I kept feeling guilty about ripping up his alibi and telling him Jess should sign it.
But why didn't he give it to Jessie in the first place?
I shook my head.
Really; why?
Have you ever hated your inner monologue?
That's my life.
You don't have to exaggerate!
If only...
I reached my new job. I was an editor.
"Sarah? Today you are editing 'Queens Belong in Castles' by," my boss paused as she looked at her files. "Jack Robinson?"
I rubbed my forehead.
"Of course, he did."

Jack's P.O.V
I had no idea what I was supposed to do. I was going before the judge in just a few days.
I trudged down the street. I was meeting with my publisher/editor. I opened the door. Sarah was standing there, looking annoyed.
"Ah. Jack. Come to ruin my life for the third time?"
"Hum?"
"Queens belong in Castles? Hum?" Sarah mocked.
"Oh..." I connected the dots.
"This is the LAST time I trust cretini monelli che vivono per rovinarmi la vita," She muttered it, but loud enough so I could hear it. (bratty jerks who live to ruin my life)
Obviously, because she loved to insult me, she told me what it meant.
"In case you're too stupid to know what that means," she rolled her eyes. "it means bratty jerks who live to ruin my life."
I glared at her.
"What? It's not my fault you 'loved' Jess,"
"Excuse us," I said, pulling Sarah out of the building.
"Let. Go. Of. Me," she growled. I dropped her arm.
"Listen. I don't want you to read my book. Not yet, at least,"
"Great. Then I'll go tell my boss that I'm happy to edit it,"
She laughed.
"Sheesh Sarah. What happened to you?"
"What happened to me? WHAT HAPPENED TO ME?"
I nodded, feeling like a stupid child.
"Well, first, I was dumped by my boyfriend so he could be more popular. Then, my ex-husband stopped sending me money.
After that, my old boyfriend shows up, asking for my help, but whenever I'm around him, all he talks about is how he wishes he had married Jess,"
"Hey. I do not!"
"You sound like a child, Jack. And you did too. When you made me read the alibi? You clearly said, 'Ash and Trevor would be my kids if I married Jess',"
