Beep beep
katara rolled over, the loud beeping of her alarm clock jolting her from her deep sleep. A reminder of the deadly day ahead of her. The day she returned to school. Dragging herself from her warm bed where piles of blue and white blankets tempted her to crawl right back.
Once showered and cleaned she threw on a cream mock neck and a light blue slip dress and put on eyeliner and lipgloss. Her long brown hair was pulled back into a ponytail. The mirror beside her hyping up her perfect figure, she smiled at herself.Down the hallway, her brother flexed his muscles in his bedroom mirror. As kind curtesy of high school football. He knew his place. He knew he was good looking. He grabbed a navy sweatshirt and flung open his bedroom door.
3 doors down a pretty girl with short brown hair was making breakfast. Her oversized green trousers swayed as she moved around her small kitchen. Her fierce but kind face produced a large smile when her mum came down the stairs as she called out that breakfast would be ready soon.
In the next street, in a small cramped house, stood a tall boy with pale skin, dark hair and a red scar covering his eye, a telling of his previous pain. But the only telling. His dark eyes were filled with fire and a permanent frown spread across his face. He looked like he would and could take anyone in a fight. He threw on black trousers, a dark red sweatshirt and collar and plenty of chains.
His sister, a floor below him, sat on a tattered sofa her feet resting on the table infront of her, no cares in the world given. Her dark hair was pulled back into a bun, two perfect strips carefully pulled out from the front. Her high heeled black boots tapped against the wood, the red dragons painted on them threatening her surroundings. She wore a mesh black top under a red cami top, clinging to her figure and showing off her curves.
Just a few miles from there was a short, lively boy with brown hair and a permanent smile spread across his face. He was rushing about his house, a frantic search for his lost dog, appa, to feed him. He wore a yellow beanie with an orange T-shirt and beige trousers. The stairs creaked as he whizzed up and down them, his energy never slowing.
2 blocks down a small blind girl was throwing her flat beige pumps at her parents and replacing them for high topped dark green converse. She wasn't one to be underestimated. She brushed down her green top and black shorts outfit and flung open her door.
And 4 blocks down from there sat an unamused girl, her dark hair pinned back in space buns from her pale face. She grabbed her bag and left her large house, happy to escape her controlling parents. Her slim legs were defined by her black ripped tights as she walked. Her outfit also consisting of a tight black skirt and burgundy top.
Walking towards in the direction of her unamused friend, a bubbly girl hopped along the sidewalk her bouncy brown hair held back in a loose high ponytail. Her red tennis skirt swayed as she moved and her pink cardigan covered in cherries hugged her pale skin.
And that was the start of their school year...
