Kallik has been staying over for a few days. She didn't speak much. The way she would move reminded Pana of a princess, but every time she would speak, it was like a general commanding its troupes. He found it very peculiar, but really admired her determination and coolheadedness.

"Are you a bender?", he asked her while her arms and legs were exposed. She had just woken up, she always woke up very early like a soldier getting ready for battle, so it was a rare moment to see her body. And Pana was intrigued.

Not in a sexual, arousing way, but a warrior way. She was quite small and looked very normal for a teen, but Pana could see the strength in her arms. The muscles. It was clear she wasn't a damsel in distress.

"No.", Kallik replied simply.

"A  warrior?"

She hesitated. "Yes. I am."

That was all Pana needed to know. He knew she could fight, every move she made just looked so controlled. She also had an aura that made you listen to her demands. It makes you want to yield to her.

"Can you teach me?", he asked.

Kallik's eyes turned to look straight at Pana. "Aren't you a little late? The war is over... Unless you don't trust the new Firelord?"

Her voice was smooth, but it was clear she liked the reaction Pana gave her. He winced at the Firelord part. So he was caucus.

She smiled. "Well, I can't blame you. It is good to be on edge. You never know when you will be betrayed... Or who will betray you"

"Does that mean you will betray me?"

She smiled. "Depends"

Pana laughed. Not an amused laugh, nor a nervous one either.

He looked her dead in the eye and said: "I know you aren't here to make friends. I don't want to be."

"But ?", she added.

"I want to fight. I never learned it properly. I know you can. I know you are well trained. Teach me."

"And why would I do that?"

"My brother is away for now, but he has a boat... And a crew. I let you stay here until he comes back and then you can go with him to where you came from"

She had a devious smile. "Fine. But I won't be nice. You listen to everything I say. I am your commander, you are a mere soldier. Don't talk back. Don't complain. We start at sunset"

Pana nodded.

Before she walked into her room again she added: "DON'T be late."
