The car slowed down until it park in front of a small restaurant— open restaurant.

Karinderya ata tawag nila dito.

I silently read the tarpaulin hanging outside of the place.

"Is it okay?"

Napalingon ako kay Zion, he's currently taking off his seatbelt.

"Pardon?"

"The place, ayos lang ba kung dito na tayo?"

Ohh, that's what he's asking. I check the place again, and realized that there's a lot of customer, mausok din dahil nag titinda din sila ng barbeque sa gilid.

"Safe naman dito, I always eat here."

He commented, and I agree. The place looks clean at all, I can even see the joy from the looks of the customer while enjoying their food.

"Let's go."

Sinimulan ko nang tanggalin ang seatbelt.

"Sigurado ka?"

I didn't bothered answering him, nauna na akong bumaba, agad napunta sa akin ang atensyon ng mga ibang customer kaya bahagya akong na-conscious. It's only past seven, madami pa ang tao.

"Is it really o—"

I turned to Zion with a glare to make him shut up, natigilan naman ito at nag tataka akong tinitigan.

"Ingay ingay."

Walang hiya kong reklamo, he became confused even more, inirapan ko lang siya at pumasok na sa loob.

"She's... seriously?"

I heard him mumble from the back, kung hindi lang siguro kami linapitan ng isang dalaga na mas bata sa amin ay baka nag away na naman kami dito.

"Kuya Zion!"

A girl acknowledge and went to us— sa kaniya lang pala. She's wearing a maroon apron with the printed name of this place.

"Mama andito si Kuya Zion!"

Pinanuod ko siyang lumapit kay Zion at nakipag apir, and I'm surprised to know that this guy seems fond to the owner of this place.

"Aba'y papasukin mo na at asikasuhin, ikaw talagang bata ka!"

Sagot pabalik ng isang ginang mula sa counter, her eyes darted at me and she smiled widely.

"Pasok kayo Kuya! Tagal niyong hindi bumalik dito!"

The girl assisted him, but Zion pulled me by my wrist the reason why did the girl turn to me with confuse look.

"Girlfriend mo, Kuya?"

My forehead creased because of her tone and the way she check on me from head to toe, that's kinda offending.

"Kaibigan ko, dinala ko na dito kasi nagugutom kawawa naman."

"Zion." I warned.

Pinandilatan ko ito ng tingin, tumawa lang siya at ipinakilala na ako dito sa bubwit na kakakita ko palang sa kaniya ay nakaka sira na ng gabi.

Anong klaseng tingin 'yan? Crush mo itong kupal na 'to? Saksak mo sa baga mo, 'di ako makikiagaw.

"Siya si Lary, ate nalang itawag mo."

Gusto ko biglang sapakin itong lalakeng 'to, sino nag bigay sa kaniya ng permiso na hayaan ang bubwit na 'to na tawagin akong Lary?

"Ah, hmm... tuloy na kayo, dating pwesto din ba?"
