"I'll be home late."

I broke the silence between my breakfast with my parents, Mom lifted her judgemental eyes on me while Dad remain focus on his food.

"Pardon?"

I cleared my throat, Mommy sounds not okay with what she heard from me. Well, today is monday. After the class, Kenea and I have to go to help Vice Mayor's program for our punishment.

Gladly Kuya is not here at mukhang hindi naman din niya sinabi kay Mommy ang tungkol dito.

But I think it would be okay for Mom kung sasabihin ko ang pag tulong kay Vice Mayor. But I know she will ask the reason why I'm helping?

"Group study, exams are coming."

I reasoned out.

"Why don't you ask them to study here?"

"Mom, Jeremy is loud."

I suddenly blurted out, well... that's true, that pretty gay is freaking loud.

"And... sa library lang din naman kami, mas focus kami doon."

I almost sound begging. I don't want her to know my extra activities! She will dig information about it till she might end up discovering about my punishment and the reason behind it. She already warned me to avoid fighting back with boys yet I received a punishment because of it.

She was about to open her mouth but her phone rang on the table, she sigh and throw me a glance before answering the call.

"Huwag ka mag papagabi."

Her last reminder before leaving the dining hall, I just purse my lips and mentally nodded but actually I don't know what time I can able to go home. And I'm also thinking deeply, mag papasundo ba ako kay Manong? Saan? Sa lugar ng program ni Vice Mayor? Baka mag taka si manong!

I sigh, iisipin ko nalang 'yan mamaya!

I went to school after the breakfast, 9:00 am pa ang pasok namin, Jeremy messaged me na nasa library sila para gawin ang activity namin sa  financial analysis which I also forgot to make, damn it!

Inabutan nila ako agad ng long bond paper, I whispered my thanks and indulged myself answering six questions. The library was a bit cold, and I heard the group next to us laughing a bit, complaining because of the high cold temperature of aircon which did not passed to our librarian's sense of hearing.

"Malamang malamig, ano tingin niyo sa library may campfire? Gusto niyo pagawaan kayo ng president ng fire area?"

I watch her approach the table next to us, the girls looks so embarrassed and glaring the poor table. Grabe na talaga ang librarian na 'to! Kaunti nalang maliban sa I.D at proper uniform ay ipa-iwan nadin ang bunganga namin sa labas para wala nang makapag salita.

I did the same way, glaring my papers while continuing answering. Ang mga kasama ko ay abalang abala, walang pake sa paligid.

"Mga kabataan nga naman, oh." She commented after a while. "At kayo? Nakapasok lang kayo nag tanggal na ng botones, estudyante kayo at hindi model, ayusin 'yan!"

I lifted my eyes to check what she's doing, abala na ito ngayon sa kabila pang table kung saan nag kukumahog mag botones ang dalawang lalake at napapakamot pa sa batok.

"Sorry ma'am! Okay na, Ma'am chill lang tayo!"

They kidded which doesn't sounds fun for the librarian, she just sneered her eyes and went back to her cubicle. The group of girls who got reprimanded earlier decided to leave with embarrassed face.

"Chismosa inday." Mahina akong kinalabit ni Jeremy gamit ang ballpen, he pointed my empty paper with his lips. "Tapusin mo na 'yan."

Nabalik ako sa reyalidad at umayos ng upo.

"Tapos na kayo?" I asked while starting again, nahuli na ako!

"Hmm, wala pa. Kokopya palang sa'yo." He giggled, I stop writing just to glare him.

"Akala mo naman." I mumbled and continue writing my essay answer.

We successfully survived the rush activity.

"Hey!"

Natigilan kami sa pag lalakad ng bigla kaming pigilan ni Paul, he was smiling widely, different from what we used to see since we received the punishment.

"Ay?!" Sinapo ni Jeremy ang dibdib niya. "Naliligaw ka?" He asked sarcastically, Paul purse his lips and shook his head.

"Hindi." He answered, his eyes found me and smiled.

"Ah, kala ko 'di mo na mahanap ang daan ng banyo." Jeremy laugh, but when he notice that Paul is looking at me too much, he stand between us. "Tara na girls! Lalo ka na, Lary! Hanap ka ni Zion kanina, sabay daw kayo later!"

My jaw drop, even Kenea, but Jeremy just dragged the both of us.

"Kailan sinabi?"

"Nag kita kayo?"

Halos mag kasabay na tanong namin ni Kenea, Jeremy rolled his eyes and check behind us, nang makalayo ay binitawan niya kami at inirapan muli.

"Mga boba! Excuse lang 'yun!"

"For?" Kenea asked.

"Wala! Alam ko lang ang mga tinginan na ganoon." He answered, now walking between us.

"Tinginan? Nino?"

I just shook my head dahil mukhang hindi napansin ni Kenea ang tingin kanina sa akin ni Paul. Ang gagong 'yun, there is no way I will put interest on Charlotte's trash.

"Boba ka talaga, si Paul!"

"Ahh..." She reacted, slowly understanding the topic. "Bakit? Paano ba ang tingin niya?"

"Ganito..." Jeremy suddenly went in front of me and look at me the same thing Paul did earlier. We all laugh, I push him away in front of me dahil kuhang kuha niya ang tingin ni Paul kanina.

"Bakla tigil!" I reacted while laughing.

"Pano? Pano?" Kenea requested for another demo, and Jeremy gladly obliged to tease me. We burst out with laughter's again.

Kung makatawa kami parang walang gagawing punishment mamaya, ha. Our last period will end exactly 3pm, Kenea and I will just commute later.
