Jennette's POV
Walking into the new studio, old dance bag slung over shoulder, audition papers in hand, I step up to the front desk.
"Hi, are you Jennette Payne trying out for our competitive team?" The women asks. Nodding, I hand her the sheet and she replies:
"Thank you sweetie, now just make your way to the dance room. Our coach is waiting." Nodding in reply, I make my way into the back to the dance room.
"One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, and one! Oh, our new student has finally arrived!" She says, looking over at me smiling. Abby never did that....the occasional nod that I was doing good was all I ever really got from her....
"Well! Come on in!" She says, waving me in. I step in the room, set my bag down, and walk out to the dance floor. I wait, until the song begins to star 'The Diary of Anne Frank', that was one of the first dances I ever had with Abby, but I'm not crawling back to Abby, I'm gonna stay here, and have my dancing career, I'm just a little sad I don't get to have the solo, or the trio, or the group dance with my besties. But I guess.....life goes on....Ending the dance on the ground with my arms wrapped around shoulders.
"That was......"Oh, here comes the criticism, "amazing!" She says, helping me up, and clapping like a small child.
"You my dear, are in the trio, group, and you'll have your own solo. That's how good you are!" She says, gawking over my talent.
"Thank you!" I say smiling.
"Okay hun! You go off and hurry home. You need rest, and we have practice all week from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Have a nice day!" She says smiling as I grab my bag and walk out into the lobby. Well! That went great!! I thought she would be like Abby. But make way ALDC!!!! Here comes Jennette Payne!!!!!
