Arms flinging playfully on her sides, Y/n walks in the dark halls towards her room. Her hair bounces, fingers tangling into the long silk sleeves that swayed around the length of her arms. The castle was enormously beautiful. The first time she stepped in, she almost thought she would get lost if she even dared to take a stroll around.

But as the days pass, so did the flaw in her legs. Her room was far up in the second last floor and in the north corner, just where she would stay protected as Taehyung once said after being questioned about it. She knew where Mrs. Park's chamber and the dormitory of the sailors was. And of course, kitchen, the true heavens.

She had been visiting these places every day, opposite of the door that rests in the south of the same floor where she refuse to go. She had her eyes on it the moment she noticed Jimin leaving it in the morning and entering it at night. It's his room, it's privacy contained with thick wooden doors that creaked everytime it is opened and closed.

It had gotten her attention and she craves entering through it to look around his room, and maybe lie down on his soft mattress to take a peaceful sleep next to hi-

She choked, cheeks heating up at her own thought. Okay.. They went a bit far. She huffs, taking a few steps towards her door. Just as the tips of her fingers rest on the knob, a voice of something falling and breaking startled her.

She whipped her head to the side, heartbeat picking up. The voice came from the right, where the hall was possessed with darkness. It had a dead end with a last turn that lead to somewhere. She never went there as it never perked up her interest. Also because this area always gave her the chills.

She never saw anyone going that way but she could swear that she had seen someone whipping past it every once in a while. And it always seem to happened at nights when she is coming back to her room. Goosebumps raised on her skin when she thought of someone staring at her.

With hunched shoulders, she turned her body towards the hall. The thoughts in the back of her head nudged at her to stay put and to just go inside her room where there was protection, but the curious girl she pushed aside three months ago when she was abducted came interrupting.

She wanted to find out what was in there. And who was that person with the shining eyes that always lingered there. She took little steps towards it. The crash was the only noise that came from there. After that, the area had turned silent.

If only she had listened closer, she would have not missed the steps which sprinted away.

Her hands turned to fists from fear as she let herself be engulfed by the darkness. Just a few more steps and she would finally gaze upon the mystery. Her instinct heightens, readying her body for any scare or attack.

Just a bit more..

"Love?"

A small gasp leaves her as she flinches and snaps around to face the one and only. He stares at her in wonder, standing a little far behind her room door.

"Jimin.." Her voice shakes as she breathes his name. She immediately gulps down the lump in her throat, blinking her eyes a few times to remove the scare in her eyes.

Jimin smiles at her ever-so-charmingly and Y/n thanks the heavens that the darkness prevents him from seeing her. "Thank pearls. I thought you fell asleep." His little nose scrunched up adorably after he spoke.

Y/n pushed her hair over her back and took a few steps towards him. "I'm wide awake." She mumbles, calming her tensed expressions and body. He would definitely notice the littlest of things.

"Got lost?" His brows raised in curiosity before he pointed his sharp chin behind her. "That leads to the underground garden."

"Oh.." A voice leaves her as she slowly looks behind her. "No, I just always wanted to come here." Shaking her head, she looked at the front again.
