The night hovering over them was young and the laughters that echoed from everywhere gave life to the festival. Y/n's eyes trailed over anything she could catch, loving the way the lights were shining brightly, throwing shades over everything.
There were citizens who enjoyed games, couples who ate with big smiles on their faces, and children, so many children who giggled on the rides and ran around everywhere in pure bliss. Her heart warmed at the sight.
When was the last time she witnessed happiness so openly? Her kingdom was just about to prepare for the year-end festival when the King Kang bust happened, ruining everything for them when she was kidnapped.
She hopes they were all doing fine. And that they knew their Queen was not going down without a fight. That she was alive and yearning for the warmth of her kingdom and its people.
She walks side by side with her fiancé, curious eyes set on everything while his was set on the awe in her pretty face. He smiles, shoulders relaxing after he felt the worry of her not enjoying the festival fly away.
His mouth part open for a question, but he end up trailing off. Is he nervous right now? The way she made him feel, the emotions he had long forgotten about did something to his heart. Her impact on him literally left him with red cheeks and hot ears.
"Wow.." A whisper left her as her little mouth open at the display of the endless line of street food. She purse her lips in a thin line as her mouth watered, cheeks fluffing up as her eyes trail up to his.
He was smiling from ear to ear in seconds, having to look away from her innocent doey eyes so he could take a deep breath. She was going to be the end of him soon.
"Want to try some?" He points his head towards the stall of food and his insides melted into puddles when she nods eagerly at him, like a little child jumping on their tippy toes in excitement.
His hand grips hers as he felt his possessiveness coming to the surface. In no way, with the promise of his precious pearl would he leave his adorable fiancé to walk around these streets without his guide. What if she got distracted by a little bunny and got lost. Who would get her back to him? So yes, he was definitely the best guide for her.
Not even the royal guards could help her. Do not argue with him on that.
He leads her towards the source of where the heavenly aroma was coming from while making sure their faces are hidden by the hood of their caps. Little Y/n instantly dips in on the samples and Jimin can only watch with sparkling eyes at the way she squeals, her cheeks turning red when her taste buds are drenched with the sweetness.
Her fingers hower over her mouth in awe and she turns to him with pretty eyes. "Jimin." She gasps in disbelief.
He could not help but chuckle, his hand twitching in a intense urge to just reach down, grab her and bite into her round apple cheeks. He knew that they would be sweeter than the dessert she was now offering him. She held it up to his mouth, her excited expressions telling him to eat it.
His head slightly tilt down and he bit into the whole entire thing. He watch as her eyes turn wide as his thick lips wrapped around the tips of her fingers too. She turns beet red in seconds.
She stays frozen as he drag his lips back up her fingertips and moves away. His eyes read nothing but mischief and she knew he did all of that on purpose. Her eyes blink rapidly to snap herself out of the daze.
She pulls her hand down and turns to look at the front again where the food was frying in the bubbling oil. She almost huffs at his audacity. This man is going to be the end of her.
