Jimin inhales the calm air, staring out from the rooftop of a small house towards the colorful lights that decorate his kingdom and the chiming laughters of his citizens. Indeed, nothing feels as sweet and warm as your own home. The people and the streets were as alive as they were when he was young and innocent. He used to play in these streets. And these are the exacts same streets where he met his both most loyal sailors at the fragile age of ten.

A sigh from next to him takes his attention and he is instantly turning towards the twenty two year old standing against the railing. She stares out into space ahead of her, eyes distant and thoughtful. He wondered what she was thinking about. Was she perhaps thinking about her own kingdom? She was snatched away from there before the new year festival after all. This must remind her of her own home.

He completely softens. How is this tiny human so strong? It amazes him as much as it concerns him. His sweet fiancé who's smile has brightens up all of his life. It is not hard for him to read her. She is so open, but at the same time, even more secretive. He sometimes thinks of how he can break down those walls without making her feel bare and vulnerable.

Her pretty eyes that he swore carried the galaxy within, when will he release them of the pain he sometimes sees flashing through them? Just the thought of leaving where he would not be able to keep a constant eye on her stresses him and breaks him at the same time. What if she wants to have a shoulder to cry on or gets sick? How will he be able to spoil her like she deserves to be if she is far away from him? All these scenarios swirl around his head everyday and he gets more and more anxious and worried.

"This feels so much like home."

Her voice brings him back from his train of thoughts and he trails his gaze up to her who looks up at the sky. "I always used to sneek out to festivals back home."

It was like a bullet piercing through his heart. If he could, he could cry for her. But sadly, that is not as easy for him as said. So he can helplessly stare at the sad smile that lit up her delicate features. "Jin oppa always told me to not go out like that without any guard. But he would never scolded me."

"I wonder where he is now.." Her voice trails off into a whisper in the end, eyes gazing longingly ahead of her.

From where could he find Jin? Is he even alive? He would dig up every part of the world to find that man if it meant keeping her at ease and making her happy.

She turns her head around to face him and finds him gazing at her with the softest expression she had seen him in. She discovers that for a man who owns more than half of the world and can destroy it all with just a snap of his fingers, this softness suits him the best. She finds it even more attractive cause they are always meant to be for her and her only.

"Thank you, Jimin." She could not help but whisper to him, thinking back to the hours they played and had fun. She will keep them in one of her best memories with him. "I had lots of fun today because of you. Your kingdom is beautiful and so are your people. You are everything I could ask for and your mother feels really warm. I am sure I will be able to settle in here without any problem, so thank you for bringing me here."

He could not help it. He had to because her eyes were calling him. He steps closer to her and looks down at the little wonder before him. His arms envelope her to him in seconds and pulls her against his chest.

She immediately melts into his embrace, arms raising to circle around his abdomen where she snuggles further into his broad figure. He feels warm, warmer than that time where he pulled her back to his chest in Taehyung's house for the first time. Yes. Much more warmer and comfortable than that time where she thought she would die soon.
