Chapter 10: Rei Todoroki (Part 4)

Izuku was currently pacing outside of the psychiatric ward, Shoto had talked him into taking his mother to an amusement park. Izuku was freaking out, it would be his first time alone with a girl, wait...no, a woman. Wasn't that technically considered a date? He groaned out loud as his brain was currently in overdrive. 

He took a few deep breaths and walked into the ward. Shoto had already informed his mother that he wouldn't be able to make it and that Izuku would take her. Which she agreed to. She was currently waiting in a seat near the reception desk. Izuku's breath caught in his throat once he laid eyes on her. 

Rei was dressed in a white sundress, even though that looked great on her. Izuku's attention was brought to her perfect, creamy white legs. They looked so beautiful and what she was wearing only made her look even more gorgeous. She had on white sandals and a necklace around her neck. The gem of the necklace was white with a small green gem in the middle. 

He had to admit, she looked breathtaking, and it only made it that much harder to approach her. But, realizing that they had to get there sooner or later, he walked toward her, his palms sweaty and his knees weak. 

Izuku himself was in a light green t-shirt and a black pair of jeans, he also had on a green pair of sneakers. Which was surprising considering he only wore the same red shoes everywhere. Rei soon looked up and quickly scanned her grey eyes over Izuku before smiling. 

"Midoriya-san! I'm sorry Shoto asked you to do this, you could've had plans." Rei said.

"N-No, don't worry about it, I-I was completely free!" Izuku insisted.

"Well, if you insist. Now, should we get going?" Rei asked, Izuku squeaked out a "Y-Yes" and they made their way to the amusement park. 

Izuku took this chance to admire Rei once again. He had mentally scolded himself for doing this, but he just couldn't help it. Maybe he had a thing for older women. The thought itself had Izuku's face burning red. As the two walked side by side, Rei had tried to make small talk.

"So Izuku, tell me about yourself." Rei had asked. Izuku did his best to talk without stuttering.

"W-what do you want to know?"

"Hmmm, how about your favorite things to do?"

"W-Well, I like to train my quirk, a-and research about Heroes. L-Like All Might, or Gang Orca, h-he's pretty cool. Also, the Wild Wild Pussycats, they do all kinds of things from-" Izuku ended up talking about Heroes for about 10 minutes until he realized he was still with Rei, he turned his head to see her staring at him curiously, as if waiting for him to continue. His cheeks turned red.

"O-Oh, I'm s-sorry for rambling it's a bad habit of m-mine." Rei just chuckled in response.

"It's fine, it was actually refreshing to hear you talk about this stuff, I don't have a phone so I usually have to look at the news for stuff like this, It's surprising how much has passed." Rei said Nostalgically.

"W-What about you? What do you like to do?" 

"Well, there isn't much to do at the ward besides exercise, I usually just read books or watch TV." This made Izuku feel sorry for his friend's mother. He mentally promised himself that he'd make today fun for her. 

"Enough about my boring life, is there any girls you've set your sights on?" Rei said teasingly, Izuku blushed at this statement.

"N-Not really, no." 

"What?! I'm surprised. Fine, then you have to describe your dream girl. Or dream guy, you never know who swings what wa-" 

The walk there was very awkward.

After about 30 minutes of walking, the two finally arrived at the amusement park. It was bustling with visitors. 

"W-What s-should we do f-first?" Izuku turned to see nothing next to him. He quickly looked around for Rei to see that she was already walking around, mesmerized by the things there.

"R-Rei! Wait up!" Izuku ran towards Rei who was near a stand of some sort.

"Midoriya! Let's do this!" She pointed at the stand, you were supposed to shoot a toy gun at a target, and depending on how many you hit, you got a prize.

Rei went first, and only hit 5 of the 15 targets set up by the owner. She looked pretty disappointed, and Izuku saw her eyeing a white panda that was one of the prizes. So, Izuku went after her, and hit all of the targets. He then got the panda, and proceeded to give it to Rei.

"What? For me?" Izuku just nodded, not trusting his mouth to say anything, his cheeks were blazing.

"Thanks!" Rei closed her eyes and gave a bright smile, one that Izuku wanted to protect.

They continued to check out the stands, even coming across a photo booth where they took photos, Izuku gave an awkward smile, while Rei just smiled, but at the last second, Rei clung to Izuku. So the photo consisted of Izuku making a shocked face while Rei just kept smiling. When the photos printed out in one reel, Izuku put in another coin to buy another reel and put it in his pocket while Rei wasn't looking.

After that, they had ridden a roller coaster, Izuku had screamed like a child while Rei just yelled in excitement. As she looked over to Izuku who was still screaming, she actually couldn't remember a time where she had as much fun as she was having right now. Enji never did these things with her. She couldn't help but long for that type of relationship. Now that she actually looked at him, Izuku looked kind of handso-

'NO, calm down Rei, he's only 16, you are in you 40's, didn't you promise to give up on love?' She thought.

It was true, after Enji had her put in a psychiatric ward, she had promised to give up on ever finding love. But as she went to this amusement park with Izuku, she couldn't help but feel the embers of a crush slowly start to seep back into her, even though it was impossible for them to be together since it was illegal. 

By the time she was done thinking, the ride was already over, and Izuku was already hyperventilating. Rei smiled, even if they couldn't be together, she would at least become close with the boy next to her. 

"Rei, t-the sun is starting to set, I think we have enough time for one more ride before we should start to leave." Izuku said, gasping for air. He was never going on a roller coaster again after this. Rei looked around, and saw a Ferris wheel, it looked like a great ride to end the day on.

So they went, and somehow the person who was taking the tickets mistook them as a couple, causing Izuku to nearly pass out and Rei to lightly blush. They both got into a cabin, sitting on opposite sides of each other, so they were face to face.

"Midoriya, thank you for taking me here, I really needed this." 

"I-It's no problem, I a-also had fun." Izuku replied, their cabin reaching the top of the Ferris wheel. 

The view of the city from the top of the Ferris wheel looked beautiful, the lights of the city, plus the sunset made the day worth it. Suddenly, a strong gust of wind blew, making them cold. Izuku looked over to Rei, but, the gust of wind had blown up her sundress, making Izuku catch sight of her black laced panties. The look of her perfect thighs and her black panties had caused Izuku's pants to suddenly feel tight. Izuku turned his head, (a little to late if you ask me) and apologized.

"I'm sorry Rei-san, I didn't mean to look, I swear!" Izuku pleaded. Once the wind died down, he looked back to see Rei's face. Her face was completely red, and she looked super embarrassed, she avoided eye contact as much as possible.

"I-I'ts okay Midoriya, I know you didn't mean to, just...let's not speak of this again." 

"R-Right." 

The Ferris wheel had descended to the end, they both got out, and they prepared for another awkward walk.
