Toga was panicking, something was wrong, wrong with her. Everything was fine, but why now? Why was this happening? It all started a few hours ago.

FLASHBACK

Toga stood over her latest victim in an alleyway, getting ready to consume their blood. She never really thought about it much, but somewhere in the back of her mind, she always felt bad for her victims. She wouldn't be doing this if there was an easy way, but she had to. Anyways, when she had drunk the blood of her victim, strangely, there was no taste, and that only meant one thing.

Back when Toga used to consume her own blood to stay mentally stable, she had done this for 4 years while staying with a relative. But this had been unable to satisfy her urges and ran away when she was 14 in fear that she was a threat to her relative.

She then began consuming other people's blood for around 2 and a half years until today, when suddenly there was no taste. Panicking, Toga spent another two hours finding gullible victims, killing them, and attempting to consume their blood, her efforts were futile though, as all of her victims' blood didn't have a taste.

What was gonna happen? If she couldn't taste other people's blood anymore or her blood, did that mean that she didn't have a choice about what happened to her mental state? Would she eventually go insane?

Toga wasn't afraid of most things, anything she was afraid of, she usually got over. But to Toga, there was nothing that scared her more than her quirk. More specifically, one part of her quirk. She absolutely hated that she had to consume blood to stay mentally stable. That one part of her quirk had influenced her life so heavily.

Toga did have a shimmer of hope, however. She still had a bit of Izuku's blood, she hadn't drunk it all. Izuku's blood had been the sweetest and most delicious thing she'd ever tasted, and she didn't want to drink it all immediately, so she kept some of it in a small vial. It wasn't much, but it was enough for her to taste it.

So, Toga opened the vial and poured the red liquid into her mouth. Her eyes watered and a relieved smile appeared on her face.

FLASHBACK END

So here she was, panicking in a hotel room

At least she had one way to receive blood, but that brought up all sorts of new problems. For example, Izuku didn't even know about her quirk yet, so how would she get blood from him?

Trying to take blood from him forcefully would only result in bad outcomes. Plus, they'd only known each other for about 2 weeks, so even if she told him beforehand and asked him, the chances of him saying yes were pretty slim, even with his caring nature. So she'd build trust with him first, then she'd ask, and if he still said no, she would have to do some unpleasant things to him.

It didn't help that Izuku was going to some kind of training camp in a week, and it was supposed to last for the whole summer. So she had 1 week to get as close to him as possible or, as stated before, she would have to do some unpleasant things to him.

She could stay mentally stable for about 2 weeks before she'd need blood again, though she usually retrieved blood once a week. This wouldn't be easy though, to gain his trust, she'd have to become one of his closest friends, and being friends wasn't something she was good at since the last time she'd had a friend had been years ago.

Toga still had no idea how or why she could taste Izuku's blood but no one else's blood, it didn't make any sense. Maybe it was because she'd relied heavily on those sources for too long. But if that was the case, did that mean that if she were to do the same thing with Izuku, the same thing would happen? This whole thing was confusing for Toga, she didn't like any of this at all.

She wished there was a way for her to get rid of this stupid quirk. She'd do anything for it to go away. She never imagined what it would be like to be quirkless, but right now, she wanted nothing more than to be a quirkless person, at least then she'd have a chance at having an actual life.

It wasn't like she hated Izuku or anything, regardless of whether or not she could still taste other people's blood, she was still going to pursue Izuku either way. That's what her goal had been from the beginning. She was originally going to try and get Izuku's blood at her own pace, but now, her quirk had practically forced her hand.

It was crazy how she relied on her quirk often, yet she didn't even know the full extent of how it worked. When she first found out that her own blood didn't satisfy her, she just rolled with it, but it happened again, and it was clear that she didn't know much about her quirk.

She had noticed that Izuku know a lot about quirks, maybe she could ask him about it. Though she was a bit discouraged since the last time someone knew about her quirk, she ended up being a villain.

Toga was in a really bad predicament right now.
