Chapter 2

Chloe

I was on my way to the parking lot as fast as I could. When I saw Max and Nathan, I felt like everything around me was a blur. Nathan held Max and talked to her and it was obvious that Max didn't like how he was close to her.

Chloe: "Get away from her!" and when I came closer, I pushed him away from Max and stood between them. I can saw how Nathan's anger is coming back.

Nathan: "Get out of my way punk slut!"

When he finished his answer, I punch him. He couldn't stay in balance, so he fell on his back.

Max: "Chloe stop! He didn't hurt me or something else."

Chloe: "But he will!! I couldn't save Rachel from him, then at least I'm going to be sure that he wouldn't hurt you!"

Nathan: "Rachel? Is that why did you follow me?" When he mentioned her name, I've got my rage back.

Chloe: "Save it motherfucker!" And I kicked him into his stomach. Even if he was in pain, I can still hear him whisper something...

Nathan: "Max... you need to get out..."

Chloe: "What that fucker talking about? Someone wants to hurt you or anything? Max?... Max are you listening???" I stared at her... Max was frozen... but after a while, she responded.

Max: "I-I don't know Chloe, but he was acting like weird... like he cared actually..."

Chloe: "That shit had some sort of feelings?? No... fucking... way..."

Max

Max: "Chloe... we should figure out what he meant by that." And I turn my head to Nathan. I think Chloe doesn't understand what I mean by that. "I think that we should take Nathan with us somewhere where we could find out more info from him and..."

Chloe: "Woah... Are you actually saying that you take words from his mouth seriously?! No offense Max... But you are hella high or you went crazy because of all the traveling back in time..." She then raised her eye brown on me.

Max: "I just want to be careful! If we are still in danger then..."

Chloe: "No fucking chance I'm going to with that asshole anywhere! If we are in danger, I'm here to protect you!"

As she said, she walked towards Nathan... I already see it's going to get worse. She grabbed a fist of his t-shirt and looked at him with deadly eyes. Nathan was still in pain because of the kick so the only thing he does was looking at Chloe with a fearful expression on his face. He then swallowed.

Chloe: "Why Rachel?" She whispered. "WHY RACHEL?!" Then she shouted when he didn't respond to her.

At that moment...I can see how she wiped away her tears from her eyes.

Max: ,,Chloe..."

Chloe: "Are you listening to me asshole!! Tell me now!" And she pressed a gun onto his chest

Max: ,,Chloe!! Stop!!"

Chloe: "Why Max?! Tell me any fucking reason why I should let him go... "

Max: "Please Chloe... you're not a killer! Just give me the gun... NOW!"

I was grabbing David's gun from her hand slowly. Then she frowned and punched Nathan right between the eyes. Nathan then fell on his back again. Then Chloe stood and looked at me still with frowning eyes.

Chloe: "I don't even want to know if you were rewinding this or not'' she said and give me a little smile...

I was about to give Chloe back David's gun but then Nathan whispered.
