It been about two days since the Survey Corps had returned from the most recent expedition outside the walls. And of course I been running my ass off these past two days to restock supplies that no one seems to care about expect me apparently.
I was in the medical office checking on the supplies and jotting down what needed to be restock. When I was about finished I heard the ringing of door opening and closing. Glancing over my shoulder I catch a glimpse of my father's lengthy frame and blonde hair. Letting out a small sigh I place the clipboard down on the nearby table and felt my right foot kick off the ground as I spun towards my father.
"Nice try but you are one of the last people that can actually sneak up on me." I grinned leaning against the closest shelving unit.
He chuckled before glancing over at the clipboard I set down not even a moment ago. "Please tell me you aren't planning on getting these supplies today."
"Actually that was the goal for today since nobody seems to give two shits about restocking the supplies." I retorted knowing fully well that I had a point as I moved towards the board again.
Not even a second after I had it in my hand it was out of it as my father shook his head. Glaring at him I tried reaching for it but of course he kept it just slightly out of my reach.
"Is this all the medical supplies we need?" Inquired my father as he scanned the list.
"Yes I was actually just about finished when I heard the door open and low and behold you were coming to check up on me." I was irritated with the fact that he was putting this off and not letting me finish it up.
"I will have Mike get the supplies because you young lady are getting the rest of today and the next two off before we head out to inspect the 104th training corps."
"Dad I'm perfectly fine with just having the two free days and besides it's not like I actually plan on doing anything before the inspection." I huffed before crossing my arms across my chest shooting daggers at my father.
"I know you want to get things done Gemini but I specifically told people even before you came along not to slack on restocking supplies. Besides a lot of these things needed to be refilled before this latest expedition anyway." Remarked Erwin completely ignoring my death sentence stare.
He started to move towards the hallway with the list in hand but stopped just inside the door frame. Glancing back at me he finally uttered, "Gemini your life doesn't need to revolve around the Survey Corps all the time. You need to meet new people and experience things people your age do."
As he walked away, I silently cursed him out knowing fully well that he would suggest something like that. Then again he did have a point, I never really had time to have 'normal' experiences. Sighing I took one last glance around the room before heading off to my room to get out of my uniform.
A few minutes later....
Taking one last look in the mirror, I smiled seeing how much I changed over the ten years my mother has been gone. I felt my fingers curl around the leather chain as I pulled out the last thing my mother gifted me, a compass necklace. Shaking my head I cleared my mind of any bad memories before grabbing my coin purse and headed out.As I was descending the stairs, I heard the echos of footsteps approaching from in front of me. I paused, listening to them realizing who they belonged to.
"Well if it isn't little miss bombshell." Levi smirked as he came into view on the staircase.
"This bombshell can still kick your ass captain." I remarked with a gleam in my eyes.
"Let me guess daddy dearest forced you to take the rest of the day off with your other two days." Levi hinted at as he glanced over my outfit.
"Whatever gave you that idea." I rolled my eyes as I began descending again.
