2 months later, Early october.
The cafeteria was always loud with laughter or whispers that echoed through the stone walls. Ivy sat next to Owen with Eve across from them.
Eve was lucky to have ran into Ivy on the first day or with great luck she would be sitting in the bathroom.
"So how do you like the school so far? You lived in England right?" Owen said half chewing food.
"Such a gentleman" Ivy smirked "you know you should never chew with your mouth open" Her giggles stood out in the cafeteria as they were light but flourished.
"It's good but definity a change, ya know i thought i would be eating in the bathroom alone right now i can't thank you two enough" She looked down on that last part.
She remembered sitting her with her friends back home, but she pushed the thought away. She was now in Reno Nevada no where close to London. Her memories were interrupted by the bell.
"Well see you all later" Eve waved as she walked to her next class. As she entered the class she was told to sit next to this boy named Luke. She gleaned the way her teacher directed her. The blonde boy stared at the floor, quite cute she thought to herself.
"Mr Sallen right there" her teacher pointed. His grey blue eyes shot up at her. Her heart dropped as she studied his face.
There was something about him but she couldn't point it out right away. She dropped next to him and waited for the teacher to start hoping he didn't ask her any questions.
"New here?" Luke asked but didn't even glance her way.
"Uh- Yea moved her from London, My names Evelyn but-"
"London huh, Never been" finally he glanced her way "Well america isn't that great so don't get your hopes up Ms. Evelyn. His voice was drained out by the teacher's instant teaching. He let out a sigh and sank down lazily into his seat.
Eve was really good at math so she understood everything the teacher was asking her answering each question correctly.
She was constantly praised in that class but she didn't really mind other than the fact that each time she was luke would scoff. By the end of the week Eve and Luke were called up to the front desk after the bell rang.
"Ms. Mars you are excellent in this class and I was thinking this would be a perfect opportunity for Luke to catch up, So ms. Mars you will tutor Mr. Sallen."
"Nope" Luke answered immediately
"Either have Evelyn help you or fail this semester and I know with your football that won't sit nicely" The young lady answered. Before Eve could protest Luke nodded and walked out of the door.
"Thank you again ms. Mars you may go now" Eve reluctantly walked away even though this was the last thing she wanted to do.
She didn't even make it out of the hall when a familiar voice came upon her.
"Listen i don't want to do this so how about you tell Ms lavender that i'm hopeless and get me out of this little tutoring session" Luke begged as he walked beside Eve.
'I would rather do other things but if it means you fail the class that's the last thing i want so I guess you're stuck with me" She sped up walking and took a turn into her next class before Luke could answer. She stopped at the door and faced him "plus how hopeless can anyone be" she smirked
"But-" He groaned but she was already gone.
"Welcome to America Ms Evelyn" He murmured to himself as he walked away annoyed with this girl already.
