Chapter 16

Draco woke up sore the next day with Harry in his arms having no desire to go to breakfast. 

Draco could feel Harry stirring and tried to help him get up. " Harry Harry come on we have to go 

breakfast." Draco said in Harry ear. " Why can't we just stay here and sleep." Harry said in a 

groggy voice. " You know I wouldn't want anything more but damn classes will not let us come 

on we have to go get breakfast." Draco said trying to give him motivation. Harry didn't want to 

get up at all but he got ready and looked presentable for class with heavy eyes. " Come on some 

coffee will help keep you up." Draco said encouragingly. Harry gave in and drank which made 

him feel a little better. " Fine what do we have first?" Harry asked forgetting what they had to do 

that day. " I think we have Care of magical creatures." Draco said confused. " Off to classes." 

McGonagall said making Harry get out of Draco's lap. " This way to Hagrid's!" Harry said 

regaining some energy. Draco smiled and laughed but let Harry drag him to Hagrid's. " Alri' then 

inn' there sum' for ye two ter do?" Hagrid said when they arrived somewhat early to class. They 

walked over to a table and started to examine some mandroffs. Mandroffs looked a little bit like 

a mandrake with its leaf on its head but then the other part looks a lot like a pixi like from year 

two. " These things look rather weird don't they?" Draco asked after they handed in their 

homework for both that ay and the day before. " Yea they do kinda remind me of Ron." Draco 

laughed. " Hey! I heard that!" Ron said from behind them catching them by surprise. " Sorry 

mate I was only joking." Harry said going for his wand but still backing away. " Shut it next time." 

Ron said after hitting a little to hard Harry but still managing to give him a small bruise which 

started to bleed. " I don't think he realizes how strong he is." Draco said leading him to the 

bathroom to clean it up. " Draco it's fine you don't have t-" Draco put a finger over Harry's 

mouth. " Shut it and let me help you Harry. Merlin would it kill you to stop being a stubborn git 

for three seconds." Harry stopped refusing and let him go at it. Harry just couldn't get himself 

out of the grey fog of Draco's eyes but closed his when he kissed him. It was quick but 

passionate. " Bloody hell Draco what was that?" Harry asked. " Hey you kissed back Harry." 

Draco pointed out. They heard the announcement for them to go back to class so they went to 

the rest of their classes for the day. " You know what I'm to fucking tired to write a whole foot of 

parchment on fucking  Transfiguration right now. Can you wake me in twenty to thirty minutes 

from now Kitten?" Draco nodded and then set off to work once he knew for sure that Harry was 

asleep. When he had finished his work he ended up sleeping at the desk in the common room. " 

Hey Draco Draco come on mate get up." Draco stirred and saw Blaise. " What the hell why did 

you wake me up?" Draco got up and picked up his mess. " McGonagall wants to see you. said 

that your parents were with her." Draco snapped his head towards Blaise at the mention of his 

parents. He ran through the halls and into McGonagall's office which was dark. " Lumos." Draco 

said and light had been given out of his wand. He seen a figure and it seemed to be a person but 

really it was a boggart. The boggart turned into Harry on the floor in a pool of blood. Draco 

screamed and started to cry when he seen he couldn't help him. Harry who had been sent for as 

well came into McGonagall's office and heard someone crying. " Draco what's wrong?" Harry 

said not noticing the boggart. He looked around the room to look for something that would 

upset him and found the boggart. " Ridikulus." Harry said dealing with the boggart and breaking 

Draco's trance. Draco ran over to Harry and hugged him tightly. " Thank merlin you're alright 

Harry." Draco said burrying his face into Harry's shoulder. " Hey hey look at me." Draco did as he 

was told. " You're going to be fine Draco nothing has happened to me and nothing is going to 

happen to you mk?" Draco nodded and light came into the room to reveal Narcissa Lucius and 

McGonagall. " Professor McGonagall I understand you wanted to see us." Harry said calmly 

wiping Draco's tears away from his eyes. " Actually it is Mr and Mrs.Malfoy who wanted you here. 

They put a boggart in my office so that they could see how you would handle a situation like 

this." McGonagall said. " Mother, Father why would you have someone wake me up so I could go 

cry for your pleasure?" Draco asked confused. " I was unaware you were sleeping and I didn't 

know what your boggart was going to be. We honestly just wanted to see how Harry dealt with 

crisis situation." Narcissa said as if read word for word. " Mother not to be rude but he faced 

Voldemort when he was a baby, faced him again in his first year, killed a baskalisk when he was 

only twelve, dealt with a werewolf and saved his godfather Sirius Black, fought Voldemort 

coming back, Death eaters at the Ministry and Umbridge and persecution from many people in 

the ministry, Dumbledore's death, and all the horocruxs and the war. I think he handles crisis 

situations very well. Now is that all because  I for one would love to go back to sleep." 

McGonagall nodded and they left. " Thank you Harry... for being there for me." Harry looked at 

him and stopped dead in his tracks. " I'm your goddamn boyfriend you don't need to thank me 

for comforting you when you needed someone." Draco looked at Harry. " Thanks anyway." He 

said with a smirk and they walked hand in hand back to the dormitory and went straight to bed.
