Chapter 22

" Harry? Wanna go to this place where we can watch the stars?" Draco asked when he was ready 

to pop the question. " Yea sure." Harry said energetically which got Draco nervous. " Mk let's go 

then. When you're ready of course." Draco said looking at what Harry was wearing. Harry threw 

his head back because he laughed too hard. Draco turned around busying himself with his hair 

rather than looking at Harry. Draco exited the room to give him some privacy and made sure to 

grab the ring on his way out. Harry walked out only seconds after. " Alright luv let's go." Harry 

said. They got to the quidditch pitch and Harry wanted to lie on the ground instead of sitting in 

the stands. They stayed there for a while and they looked up at the stars and admired them. 

" Harry I have something to ask you it's been eating at me for a while." Draco got up and helped 

Harry up. But then caught Harry by surprise when he got onto one knee. " Harry  I brought you 

here because the quidditch pitch at Hogwarts when we played our first game together in second 

year I realized I really liked you but didn't want to risk our friendship so I didn't tell anyone. But 

these past few years I come to realize it was more than just a crush. You are everything to me 

and i am glad that our adventure you weren't harmed in any way at all. Harry James Potter will 

you marry me?" Draco who had been looking at his feet, looked into Harry's emerald eyes. 

" Yes!! yes yes yes!!" Harry responded  and wrapped his arms around Draco. They both leaned in 

and kissed each other. They put on the rings. And they both looked like the happiest people on 

Earth.

A year worths of planning and they were ready for the wedding. The theme of the party was 

green like their house. Harry and Draco who weren't supposed to see each other until the actual 

ceremony had met up in a tent. " You ready Harry?" Draco asked confidently. " As I'll ever be." 

Harry said looking at his tux in the mirror. " Stop worrying come on you look great." Draco said 

wrapping his arms around Harry's middle. " I just wish you would ruffle up your hair a bit." Harry 

said trying to get to Draco's hair before he moved. He failed. " Nope. I spent plenty of time on 

my hair. You could at least try and control that mess on your head." Draco said jokingly. Harry 

pretended to be offended when really he didn't care. " I DID. it just refuses to work with me." 

Harry said the last part in a lower voice. " Oh! Those are the bells I have to go wait at the alter for 

you, see you very soon." draco said quickly kissed Harry and left for the alter. " Hey mate who is 

going to walk you down the aisle?" Ron asked. Harry hadn't thought of that. " Oh shit why didn't 

I think of this. Can Molly?" Harry asked frantic. " I'm sure she won't mind." Ron said trying to
