A Twisted Game

Chapter 7

" Where is Mione?" Harry asked frantically. " I need her for some advice." Ron shrugged. " What 

do you need advice about mate?" Harry shrugged off the question. " Where did you last see 

her?" Ron shrugged off his question. " RON!! WHERE THE HELL DID YOU SEE HER LAST!" Ron 

looked up and gave in. He never was one for putting up a fight for stupid stuff. 

" Last night she came in and I asked her to clarify something for me and she just flipped out on 

me and stormed up to her dormitory. When I went to go apologize this morning she wasn't 

there and none of the girls know where she is. They thought that she was in the library studying 

but she wasn't there." Harry ran to the library but slowed when he entered to avoid getting hit 

with a book. He made his way front desk to ask permission from Madam Pince. It was way easier 

now since Voldemort was dead. He made his way to the restricted section to search for 

Hermione but didn't find her. He was about to leave when he saw something out of the corner 

of his eye. ' a note what the fuck is going on here?'  Harry went to go retrieve the note and read 

it. " Hey Harry I knew you'd be the one to go and look for me i've gone to work at the ministry. 

don't come after me and don't tell ronald. love mione."  Harry had to improvise the last words 

since they were blurred by tear marks. Harry didn't know who to run to first so he found all of 

her friends and told them to meet him in the RoR dreading it because of the news he had to 

deliver to them. When Ginny Ron Pansy Blaise Luna and Draco came in they all looked terrified. 

" Listen guys I think something happened to Hermione." And he passed around the note to 

everyone to see. " She had no intention of working for the ministry there are tear stains on the 

not and she would never just drop her education like that. I think we all know that about her." 

" Why didn't she want me to know Harry?" Ron asked looking confused and scratching his head.

" I don't know mate maybe because there's no one to do your homework for you since she's 

gone?" Ron gave him a deadly stare. " Ok but who could have taken her Harry?" Harry was 

surprised at Pansy normally she would have started to argue with him. " Wow. really surprised 

you're on board with me Pans and i dunno maybe a former death eater wanting to be the next 

Voldemort?" Harry put that out there it had been eating at him all day. " Why would I be against 

you. My girlfriend has just been taken i'm not going to take this sitting down. And maybe. I think 

Avery was still loyal and refused to get his deathmark taken off! But he's in Azkaban." Pansy 

said. " Well let's circle back to this girlfriend thing." Draco said teasingly. And everybody went 

along with it and they shared a good laugh. " Ok but seriously guys who else do we think it 

could have been and what proof do we have?" Harry said wiping a tear from his eye he might've 

laughed to hard at the little tease session. " Er... Nott didn't either he never even went to the 

ministry he ran after the war ended. And to be completely honest I haven't seen Theo lately."

" Pansy you are on a role today!" Blaise said playfully. " Ok so we have Avery and Nott. Maybe 

we can look into it more if we have a secret organization so McGonagall won't know I dunno 

how she would take it if she knew about this." They all nodded and rushed off to class not 

wanting to cost their houses points for being late to class. " So where do you think they're 

keeping her Harry?" Draco asked in potions when he came back from turning in his paper. " I 

don't know maybe somewhere no one would expect somewhere above ground and nice instead 

of some shrivelled up underground place like people always suspect. What about you Draco?"

" If we are fitting your description I think I know where she could be."
