9. Chapter

The little walk to the car is death silence. No one saying a word and like every other time Mickey opens the door for his twin, hopping in afterwards. But this time, before Markus could get a change to go in the passage seat, Mickey grabs him and pull him into the back as well. The small alpha wondering about it, but saying nothing, not even as Mickey switches places with the girl, so that the CEO now sitting between the two alphas. Markus is trying to get to get as close as possible towards the door to give the youngest as much space as possible, but Mickey, who's arm is around L reaches him and pulling him close towards her. For a second Mickey's and Markus' eyes met and even that Mickey's eyes are still a little red, Markus know that he will not get attack and Mickey demand him quietly to snug close to L, letting her feel safe and loved. And Markus has nothing against that, he only doesn't do in the first place, knowing about the protectives from her brothers and also because he doesn't want to force himself up on her.

They arrive home the same moment another car stops in front of the house. Mickey and Markus holding the girl close to them, having her in the middle, kinda squeezing her. Timothy goes after them, but soon steps in front to open the door. Out of the other car are coming Stefan and Julius, still no word is said. Mickey rushes his sister up the stairs. Not sure about what to do Markus is standing at the bottom of the stairs looking after them as Julius and Stefan coming in the living room, going straight to the sofas, while Timothy is turning on the heater. Before Markus can react what's going on and finding out how to react the twins have already changed in comfy clothes and coming back down. The girl is shivering and before thinking Markus reach out for her, sticking to her free side, while Mickey occupies the other. As a bundle of three they are sitting down on the free sofa under the look of everyone else.

Then Mickey tries to stand up, no one knows why he wants to but the moment he does the girls whimpers and reaching out to him, holding him like her life depend on it. Slightly confused Markus is looking at them both, but sitting as close as he is, he hears the shatter of L's teeth and the idea of standing up to get her a blanket cross his mind. For a second, he is all in for it, but before his body can react, he realises that Mickey probably had the same idea and the girl doesn't want him to left. Markus doesn't want to stress her even more so he looks towards the others, knowing full well that he need to get her a blanket without leaving her is going to work through one of the others.

"Give me that blanket Stefan." With a stern look Markus has his eyes fixed on the blanket next to the sitting alpha named Stefan. It needs some time before the latter realises what is ask and stands up, going towards the other sofa with the blanket in his hands, not questioning why Markus would need it. But soon he gets stopped by Timothy. He takes the blanket out of Stefan's hands, pretend Mickey to go on full alpha mode, knowing that he is still not back to his loving self, his obligation for protection still strong. With slow motions Timothy is stepping closer to the trio at the sofa, holding the blanket towards Markus, but Mickey is quicker. With a determined movement he snaps the blanket out of Timothy's hand and throwing it over them. With him and Markus under the blanket as well, he hopes that the heat the male alphas radiating off is heating up the girl quickly. He even places her hands between his tights for warming them up, not once thinking about the fact that if any boy and girl being in a position, they're in right now, it seems like they're together like a couple. Not once it slips his mind but if Stefan or even Julius would see it, they would truly think that the twins are sexual involved with each other. It isn't common that family members are in sexual interaction, but they are some pairs of siblings who share their partners and therefore it isn't unusual that they love each other not only on a friendly or family base. But the Werner twins aren't like that, but that would be the first thought from too many, even as L wasn't known as a girl, rumours about a relationship between the two were going around in the media.
