Chapter 2

'Too many eyes'. I thought immediately I opened the door. 'They are lots of students in here. Why do they look like they want to eat me. Please stop staring am going to trip'
   ' well, hello there'
'Thank goodness' I prayed. It was the teacher i guess.
" You are 5 mins late" she added looking on her wrist. It's a silver watch with tiny color balls, would look prettier on my mum. I smiled.
"Am sorry ma' am, it won't happen again" i said with my hands together and my eyes fixed on her face.
" Now that's alright, come" signaling with her hand " Come introduce yourself"
  I walked close to her, she scents like iris, Yummy.
    "So tell us, what is your name, transfer student?? She said smiling, I must say she is pretty, just then I noticed what was written on the board, 'PHYSICS'
       " Hi" smiling at every one "I am Mia, Mia Mason, Yes i am a transfer student and i am looking forward to working with you all" I said smiling
       "Nice to meet you Mia" they chorused but i could see quite a number didn't respond.
     "Enjoy your stay Mia" she called my name like it's Chinese. "Go sit" she said motioning me into the crowd.
   I went to the back, and sat with a curled hair black, her nose is really pretty.
"Hey" she said smiling looking at the teacher
"Hey" i responded sitting already
"Cherry" she said till looking at the teacher,
'impressive, no it's not, like she's gon' die if she looks in my eyes" I couldn't help my thoughts
"Mia" I responded.

The class was longer than i expected, would have collapse if the bell didn't come to my rescue.
"We heading to the cafeteria" Cherry said to me almost like  she's telling me what the bell is for, which she probably is unless she wouldn't have said 'we heading to the cafeteria' stop it Mia, I instructed my self.
"Mia" she called out, totally forgot she was standing there
"Oh, yeah, I know, the bell, for lunch, yeah I know" I ended smiling sheepishly, she must have noticed
"You okay"she asked
"Yeah" breathing out"yeah"
"Let's go" she said leading the way. Caught up with her. "So how is it like in   Rainbow Academy" I asked hoping to start a conversation.
"It's quite interesting, fun filled events, like the excursions, the parties, the games, it's super fun my favorite place is the base ball court"
"Wait what"I stopped amazed
She paused "what??'
"That is like my favorite place, aside my bedroom" I said smiling and feeling much better since i entered the gate.
"Wait! what do you do there"she asked almost like she wants me to say what's on her mind
"Eat, sleep"we burst out laughing
"Me too" she said in the middle of laughter.
  I am loving this girl already, I wonder what else we have in common.
"There is something the seniors normally hold a month to their graduation, it's either in one of their houses or in a resort it's a couple thing"she said not looking at my face anymore
"How is it"I asked a lil bit still excited
"Don't know" she laughed"Never attended"
"Why" I asked feeling sorry, well, never attended anything in my earlier schools except classes.
"Didn't have anybody to go with, no friends" That explains why she had one seat all to her self in class
"But why" I asked again
"I don't know, cause am black"she said, at the point she looked sad
"Hey" I said holding her hands."it's fine okay, I love blacks you know"not certain, i heard they are cunning"I'll be your friend" let's see how it goes
"Really"her eyes sparked from excitement.
"Sure" we hugged. At this point we were at the cafeteria.
We found a seat at the corner and started eating.
