Sora's Pov
"Hi Sora!"
I closed the car door and looked at Kairi. Her eyes brimming with that same brightness she always had. Somehow, seeing her managed to comfort me a lot, it makes me feel what's the word....blissful.
"Hi Kairi," I said happiness beginning to leak into my voice. She smiled and said, "Did you hear? Your the new student Council President!" I looked at her, a look of surprise staining my face. "Really?" I asked in a slightly surprised and confused voice. She nodded voilently as a response. I ran my hands through my hair.
How did I become the president? I would have surely thought it would hav-
"You though it was going to be Aqua or Ienzo huh?" She said as though she was reading my thoughts. I chuckled and said, "Yeah, My grades aren't even that good I mean I almost got a B on my report card." She took a moment before she said, "Well Ienzo didn't want the spot for some reason and Aqua said it should be you. She thought you were working hard."
"Well she is sorely mistaken."
"Lighten up Sora! Your the president of the student council! That's an accomplishment."
I chuckled slightly.
"Yeah ok then. I'm not sure I can handle this though."
Kairi stopped walking for a moment causing me to stop with her. Just as I turned my head, she grabbed both of my hands and looked me straight in the eye.
"Sora, your the strongest most awesome person I have ever meet! You may not look the part but you are very smart and have a unique way of viewing things. I have no doubt in my mind that you will be able to handle this responsibility. Besides, even if you somehow couldn't handle it well, at least you tried right?" She said in a sweet tone.
Huh....
I looked at her hands that had mine then back to her sparkling blue eyes. She actually has faith in me. She thinks I can pull this off...
"Ok," I said with determination, "I'll try my best and make you proud ." She smiled brighter than before and rapped her arms around my neck making me stumble back a little. I laughed and hugged her back.
"You two love birds fucking done your making me sick," Vanitas said in a disgusted tone. I felt Kairi's joy slowly fade as she turned to face Vanitas. She gave him a cold look and said, "What do you want?" He smirked and walked up to her, grabbing her chin harshly. "Don't be so rude ya Bitch," He said almost sadistically, "I just wanted to know where Aqua went." She slapped his hand away from her face while saying, "Why?"
"Because I wanna know."
She frowned
"Well then, I'm not sure where she went."
"Come on just tell me where she is you stupid fuck."
Kairi turned her noes up at him then turned around. She crossed her arms and growled slightly. Vanitas rolled his eyes, a slight huff coming out of his mouth. He then turned around and began to walk away from us.
"Jeez what's his problem today," Kairi said. Her hatred for Vanitas was unintentional... at first, Something happened between the two and I'm not really sure what. I've tried to ask Kairi but she keeps hiding it from me or avoids the subject. Heck, sometimes she'll just out right change the subject. One of these days I'll figure out what happened.
