Sora's Pov

I bolted up and jumped out of my bed, quickly grabbing my coat. I threw my shoes on, not bothering to tie them, and opened my door. Quietly, I crept through the hall trying not to wake my family. I hastily crept down the stairs, looking in the living room an the Kitchen. Seeing that no one was there, I quickly walked out the door.

Yes!

I quickly closed the door quietly and locked it. Once that was done I smiled as raced for Twilight Town, allowing my body to push past its limits. I smiled as I felt the wind flow through my hair.

I'm coming Riku!

Good, I'm waiting.

Really? Already?

I just couldn't wait to see you.

You really need to stop reading my mind.

Eh, I will one day.

I laughed and ran faster, passing the station of Twilight Town. As I passed the clock tower, I saw  the gate to the outskirts in sight.

How do I get through?

Jump like you did the first time.

I don't even kno-

Trust me.

I gulped and sprinted faster towards the gate. Just as I was a few feet away from the gate, I jumped. I shut my eyes tight as I felt myself fall to the ground. I grunted as I landed right on my feet, slowly opening one eye.

I did it!

I looked at the grass then back at the gate. Smiling, I turned back around and continued to run.

Where are you?

Turn to your right.

I ran to the right, jumping over the small bushes. I moved some of the leaves from my face till I finally reached him.

"Riku!" I exclaimed as I hugged him. He chuckled and hugged me back. We both stayed in that position before looking each other in the eye. We both grinned at each other.

"You ready?" He asked with a determined look on his face. I smirked, showing him the same amount of determination, and nodded. "I think its time that I know what I'm truly capable of," I said slightly eager. He smiled and started running towards the direction of the Old Mansion.

"You better keep up with me then!" He yelled back at me as he grew further away. I smiled and ran after him.

Just like old times...

I sprinted, closing the gap between us. Without looking, he noticed I was catching up and began to run faster. Shocked, I tried to keep up with him.

"Is this the best you can do?" He said glancing back at me. I grinned and yelled, "No way! I'm not gonna let you win Riku!" With that, I started running even fast than before making us only a few feet away from each other. I heard him laugh as the Old Mansion came in sight.

Why is he?

Suddenly, his pace quickened causing him to get to the mansion before me. I stopped, placing my hands on my knees, and looked at Riku. He ran up the walls of the Old Mansion and jumped onto the roof.

"I thought I told you to make sure no one saw you leave," He said loudly. I looked at him, confused then turned around.

"You guys!" I yelled as I looked at my brothers appear from behind me. Ventus placed his hands on his waist, gasping for air. "We w-wanted to know where you were r-running off to," He said between breathes. Vanitas, breathing slightly hard, looked up at Riku.
