"Come come come come come!" Kip shook Kristen awake and turned back to her lotions, medicine and healing balms. She carefully placed each type of bottle or container in a different flap of her giant bag.

"We leave in five minutes to meet your family in the village center. Your brothers dropped off clothes and such for you to get ready."

Kristen carefully combed her hair and put on a plain blue tunic and and grey leggings; casual apparel for the place they were visiting. She grabbed a peach and ran out onto the porch.

"I'm so excited to meet all the miracle working healers in Vanolufia! I mean, Vanolufia means healing! Hurry please!" Kip was wearing a simple cape, brown boots and her healing center uniform. The uniform was a blue fitted shirt and grey pants, similar to what Kristen was wearing. Though Kip was proud of her center, she usually only wore her uniform on special occasions, as she liked to be very comfortable while she healed.

"Kristen! Get your head out of the clouds and say something!" Her grandmother pleaded.

"Sorry," She started. "I was just noticing you were wearing your uniform."

"Yes. I must dress to impress these healers."

"Ahh."

The two walked in silence for a long time.

"Hey, there they are!" Kristen pointed out. The three boys waved, their blue shirts rippling in the wind.

"Good morning Kristen!" Kristen's mother shouted, far behind her brothers.

"Mom!" Kristen ran towards her mother and hugged her tightly.

"Your father couldn't make the trip today, but that's okay, right?"

Kristen nodded.

"Also, I don't think you'll make it in time to school. But that's okay too, right?"

Kristen grinned. "You know I know all the answers already."

Her mother smiled and brushed her hand against her shoulder, but stopped when she felt the thin, rubbery cloth.

"Did you seriously get hurt again?"

"Um, yes. Adonis tripped me."

"I need to talk to her guardians. She is becoming a problem. Tell her next time, I'll put the hurt on her." Kristen's mother flexed her muscles and punched the air. They both giggled.

"Hey Kriss." The boys greeted her in unison, kicking sand into the air as they ran.
