Frigga
What help am I from the confined, sanitary, lonely walls of my hospital room?
Exactly I am no help what so ever.
Of course the doctors noticed I was gone, after not coming back for almost an entire day. So they called up my parents, blah, blah, blah. Now here I am, back in there hospital, stuck here like a rat in a trap.
"Hey wanna go down to the courtyard to get some fresh air?" Kirsten said as she popped her head in my door.
I looked down at my Arc Reactor, it was showing through my black T-shirt, then over at the machine that I had connected to me. A tube ran from the machine that was about the same size as a car battery and straight into my arm. Another cord ran from it to the Arc Reactor.
"Uh yea sure might as well," I said and shrugged. Having been in this hospital for almost a week since the 'hydra' incident, I wouldn't mind carrying my machine all the way outside for some air. I slipped my legs off the bed and gripped the leather handle that was attached to the machine. Kirsten and I made our way towards the elevator, talking about our school work on the way down.
Half way through the elevator ride, my phone buzzed in my pocket.
Emily: Hey what are you doing in about an hour?
I texted back immediately.
Me: Probably nothing. Unless Steve and Natasha decide to break another rule
I never got a text back, but I didn't mind since I was wrapped up in a conversation with Kirsten as we walked to the courtyard entrance. Outside was nice. It was loud because, you know, New York. But compared to the beeping and hustling of the hospital, it was relaxing. Outside we talked about how Kirsten was getting released in two days. She was free. She was better. They had fixed her, and had yet to fix me.

No shit an hour later I was paged from my room and out into the waiting room.
"Frigga!" I voice shouted. I spun on my heels to see Emily running from the other elevator and straight for me. I hadn't seen her since Halloween, and considering it was almost Thanksgiving, we had been apart too long. I sat my machine on the ground and stood back up in time for her to wrap her arms around me. I returned the gesture and smiled to myself.
"Oh my god its been forever!" I chuckled as I hugged her.
"Tell me about it!" She said as she pulled away. Noah walked from behind her with a bouquet of white roses.
"I'm so happy you're okay," he confessed with a massive smile on his face and gave me the flowers.
"Thank you so much," I gushed and wrapped my arms around my neck. He slithered his around my waist and slightly lifted me. Hugs like these were the best. I was sat down carefully as Emily stared at the machine sitting on the ground.
"What is it?" She gestured to the machine.
"Oh I don't know the name for it but it powers my electromagnet so I don't have to use as many cartridges and it keeps my bloodstream clean," I explained as I showed her the wire for each action.
"This is so cool," she poked the light on my chest.
"I know right?" I marveled at it. "Wanna come back to my room so I can put these in a vase?"
