Where did they go?

Chained

Jack ran away from us into the darkness. "Okay April said the people would be in a cave maybe if I listen I can hear them" he tells himself as he stops and listens.
"Help us please" he hears a faint scream. He follows the screams until they get louder.
"I must be getting closer" he says to himself.
"The voices are coming from in there. Oh this looks scary but I have to do this for April" jack tells himself as he enters the dark cave filled with cries for help. He reaches a large wooden door and tries to open it but it won't budge. "Dam-it it's locked and I bet April is fighting the woman with the key.looks like I'll have to find another way through this door." Jack notes before taking a few steps back and rushing into the door.
"She's back!" A person yelled.
"No she's not it's another" another person yells.
"What? No I'm here to get you out" jack explains as they give him sceptical looks.
"Who are you really and why are you here?" An older boy asked causing jack to turn and face the boy chained to the wall.
"I'm jack and I'm here because my best friend April and I came to find you but she got caught up in fighting the woman who put you here so I need to get back to her fast" he explains as he unchains the people.
"Where's my sister" Jason asks angrily rubbing his wrists from the chains.
"We gotta go help her she's in trouble" Jack tells Jason.
