Fear

She was born in 1980

When the world hoped that World War won't start tomorrow,

In 1991 though, thank goodness,

The world was relieved but feared,

That conflict's bow might shoot war's arrow.

Whenever Pakistan would try to start a war with India

Ending up in miserable failure

She feared that failure will fuel the fire of revenge,

Ending up in peace's failure

Mother Nature was being exploited day by day,

And she knew she had to protect the environment.

So did politicians or that's what she thought,

Until Uncle Sam drew out of Paris agreement

North Korea and the US played a game of tension and conflict.

Just to decide whose button was powerful, of the most.

Syrians witnessed their country burning,

And the City of Jerusalem became conflict's host.

She saw ISIS Taliban growing,

And how Uncle Sam suppressed humanity

The lies of peace freedom and equality

Some for winning elections, others promoted conflict and inequality. Ever

Everyone said:

This is the 21st century, everyone believes in peace freedom and equality, everyone is safe.

But the events persisted of conflict and injustice, violations of human rights,

And to add more fear, chaos unleashed with the entrance of a virus that brought the powers to their knees,

And yet, some refused to wear masks,

How was she supposed to feel safe?

It was like her world wasn't her own.

They owned it, decided when to start a war and when to sob about dead humanity,

She didn't have any rights in this world.

The life went on, the events did not stop.

But one day, the mask of her hope dropped.

She saw the inevitable ugly face,

Of Ragnarok and war, which was hiding behind the mask of peace!
