The early afternoon sun hit my face and I smile to myself. Panic soon set in, causing me to check my phone for the time.
Once I saw that it read 1:15pm, I sighed in relief and I roll back over.
Looking down, I realize that I still have the dress on from last night's party.
Merlin's beard, Lenie! You couldn't even change out of your clothes?
I take off my dress and throw my dress into the bin. Grabbing my towel and washcloth, I began making my way to the showers.
As I approach, I realize no one is in there. This gives me an opportunity slip in and out without being seen.
Too many people saw me sneak off with Harry the night before. I didn't need the questions. Also, I was in nothing but a towel.
I run the water and peel off my towel. As I step in, a sense of tension washes away.
Along with all the sweat that formed during my early morning activities with Harry.
After what felt like an eternity of Mötley Crüe songs, I emerge from the shower. Wrapping my towel back around me, I head back to my dorm.
Once I approach, I notice the door ajar. Cautiously, I enter the dorm as I calm down. I see Angelina sitting on her bed, flipping through a muggle magazine.
"Merlin, Angelina. You nearly scared to me to death." I exclaimed dramatically.
She laughs as I bring myself into the dorm.
"Well, Sleeping Beauty, you can't expect you to be the only one in need of our dorm." she jokingly remarked.
I look at her as my smirk grows.
"Haha, very funny." I manage to say.
I walk to closet and pull out a jumper and some jeans to tide me over until I get dressed for the dinner party.
"What are you getting up to today, Ange?" I ask.
She turns to me and begins to answer.
"Nothing, going to the library with-." she stops mid sentence as her eyes grow wide.
I get worried at her new state. I mean, the poor girl looks as if she's seen Peeves naked.
"Ange, what's wrong?" I ask.
I follow her gaze to a purple mark on my shoulder, my cheeks burning at the realization.
"You little minx! What the hell did you do last night? Did you run off with Cedric?" she asked.
I chuckle to myself because there's no way Cedric and I would be involved. I mean, come on.
"Absolutely not! If you must know, Harry and I made up." I remarked.
A spark of intrigue flutters across Angelina's face.
"You didn't think to mention this to me? You know, you're going to miss being able to tell me this stuff when I'm gone next year." she states.
I try not to think about what life will be like without Angelina next year. It's not something I'll fancy. But, we're in the now. And right now, I have to act like I don't care.
"Oh, no. Whatever will I do without you?" I mocked.
I dramatically tumble on the bed and I sigh loudly. Angelina throws her pillow at me as I bust out laughing.
"I'll see you later, Ange. I'm off to find Harry." I told her.
She looks at me and smirks.
"Why? To get a repeat of last night?" she laughs.
