It's been a week since Ron and I got together and we are absolutely in harmonic bliss. We have spent almost every second together.

He's even slept in my dorm a couple nights. With all that going on, I forgot that Slughorn's Christmas party is coming up and I never officially asked Ron if he's going with me.

I'm just assuming but I decide I'll sneak it into a conversation sooner or later. Right now, I'm laying in bed, awaiting the sound of my alarm clock.

As soon as it goes off, I shoot up and go to my bathroom, getting into the shower. Once I step out of the shower, I brush my teeth and get my clothes out.

I put on my robes and my tie, wearing a pair of trousers and a jumper. I slip on my shoes and bolt out of the door.

I run through the common room and through the windy corridors, frigid from the December air.

I slow down when I get to the stairs, walking down them to make sure I don't fall to my death. When I reach the floor, I begin running again as I sprint to the Great Hall.

I walk through the doors and my eyes scan the Great Hall, looking for my friends. I quickly spot them and make my way over to them. I plop down next to Ron as I pull my hair up into a high ponytail.

"Hi, love." Ron says, giving me a quick kiss.

Harry is sitting beside Ginny and I decide to mess with him. Like I always do.

"Harry, answer me this. When someone has feelings for another, you think they should tell that person, right?" I query.

He raises an eyebrow at me as he swallows his pumpkin juice.

"Yes. You have to or else you'll never know how the other person feels." Harry states, causing me to chuckle.

"That's great advice. Maybe you should take it." I shrug while smirking at the boy.

He chokes on his pumpkin juice as he shoots me a look. Ginny smiles before she chimes into the conversation.

"Harry has a crush? Well, now you have to tell us who it is." Ginny beams as she tucks her hair behind her ear.

I watch as Harry's gaze follows Ginny, a longing look in his eyes. I smile as Ron decides to butt into the conversation as well.

"Well, how do you know Harry has a crush?" Ron questions, his eyebrows knitting together.

I look over at Ron and I scoff.

"One, I'm his best friend. I would obviously know, even if he hadn't told me. Two, I'm a girl. I know these things." I state, piling food onto my plate.

I look up and see Harry looking at me, a glare in his eyes. I'm about to say something as Hermione and Luna walk over to the table. I use this as a perfect opportunity to make my point.

"Hey, Hermione. You know who Harry likes, right?" I ask, my attention turning to Hermione.

She sits down at the table and grabs a cup of tea.

"Of course I do." Hermione say with a smile.

"But how do you know?" I ask.

I can feel myself adding fuel to the fire that burns in Harry's eyes. His glare is deadly and he never takes it off me.

"A, I was there when he told you. B, girls always know this sort of thing." she remarks, shoving eggs into her mouth.

"Thank you! You can't hide anything from us." I exclaim.

"But Lenie, didn't Ron-." Harry starts.

"Shut the fuck up Harry." I scold.

We sit here, laughing and joking, until it is time to go to class.
