Ron's POV
I wake up with an excruciating headache. I barely remember last night as I roll over. I reach for my phone and the time reads 11:30am.
It was almost time for lunch so I scramble to get dressed when Harry bursts into the room.
"Hey, Harry. Last night must've been wicked. What the fuck happened?" I ask, tugging my shirt on.
Harry glares at me and scoffs. I tug my pants on and I decide to try again.
"Harry, what happened last night?" I query again, earning an eye roll.
"As if you don't know what you did." Harry finally says, shaking his head.
I look up at him with confusion and then it hits me. It's coming back in flashes but I remember. I remember kissing Lavender. I remember seeing Elena cry.
I remember it all. Now, it must've been the alcohol because I wouldn't have kissed Lavender. Not when I wanted to finally tell Elena that I love her. I tug on my shoes and I sprint out the door.
"Where are you going?" Harry shouts from the room.
"To right a wrong!" I shout back as I sprint down to the common room.
I get to the common room and I scan it, looking for her. I don't see her but I see Hermione and Luna. I walk over to them and they scoff.
Why is that everyone's greeting for me today?
"What is it Ronald?" Hermione queries, anger in her voice.
"Where's Lenie?" I inquire, still looking around the common room.
Hermione scoffs again and looks up from her book.
"Why should I tell you?" Hermione seethes.
"Because last night was a mistake. I barely even remember what happened after we got back to the common room." I admit.
Hermione ignores me and rolls her eyes yet again.
"Mione, please. I need to talk to her." I plead.
I'll get down on my knees and beg if that will give me a chance to fix this.
She hesitates for a second but she eventually gives in.
"Fine, but I'm only doing this because Lenie deserves to be happy. She's in her room. She hasn't left all day. Fix what you did Ronald!" Hermione exclaims, pointing her finger at my chest.
I thank her as I sprint up the stairs to the girls dormitories. I make it there and I knock softly.
"Come in." Lenie calls out, her voice hoarse.
I enter and she looks at me and shakes her head. And it breaks my heart. Because she looks so defeated.
"No, Ron. I'm not doing this with you." she shakes her head.
She gets up and begins walking towards me. I meet her in the middle and I kiss her. Her hands move to my hair as my hands cup her cheeks. Less than five seconds later, she pulls away.
"No, Ron. You can't do that!" Lenie sounds as if she's about to cry.
"Lenie, please let me explain. Please." I plead, causing her to look at me again.
"You have one minute." she looks away from me.
"Last night didn't mean anything. I don't even fully remember what happened last night. All I remember was drinking in the postgame locker room huddle. Then I drank some more on the way back to the common room. Then again when we were in the common room. Everything after that is fuzzy." I reach for her hand.
