-Sam's POV-
It wasn't a great sight.
Several cases of ecchymoses caused by Enochian brass knuckles, most on his face. Several incisions with an angel blade, mainly at the neck but some on the face and arms. The lights in the library displayed his wings, which had been annihilated to the point where it was simply just bone; the flames in which were his wings were completely quenched. His grace was most likely voided, too. There was also perforations in several locations in his head, which was the main source of blood that was covering his head. Brain penetration.
Gabriel immediately hustled the angels that were surrounding Xaphan away and sat himself in front of the small wrecked heap on the floor. "X-Xaphy?! Little bro?"
Xaphan looked up at him hesitantly, not listening to his agitated yells at first. "Graph Tal Gisg Don Van Na Gisg Drux Med Gal." Gabe nodded in acknowledgement and very delicately touched him in order to examine the wounds, only to be met with a trauma-filled scream "MALS MED GISG FAM! MED DRUX!" The boy flinched away from Gabe, tears streaming from his needle-sized eyes. Gabe sighed and turned to me, clearly upset but trying to hide it.
"His.. his brain's been affected by the torture. He can only speak Enochian for now. I can't exactly say how long he'll be like this for. Anyway, he.. he begged for me not to hurt him and told me to stop touching him."
"Gabe," I began "I can understand Enochian fluently, I know what he said, honey" I kissed his cheek and sat down next to him "Graph Tal," I pointed to myself "Fam Fam Graph Ur Tal Don Un Na."
Dean looked at Cas "what did he say?"
"That he brings no harm to Xaphan."
Xaphan shifted his gaze to me "Gisg Gon. Graph Van Med Don Mals."
I nodded. "Okay. I'll prove it to you."
I patted my pockets down, revealing only my phone, keys to the Bunker and a flask.
"See, Xaphan? I'm harmless. I know what happened to you. None of it was your fault. Gusion pushed you into hell with him and forced you to be bound to him. Now, most people would break from witnessing 5 seconds of hell. But not you. You held on. You had resilience, and I believe you can use that to defeat your brother. You're one of the strongest angels I've ever met and I promise you, I won't let Gusion harm you, ever. We're gonna make sure you heal first, though. I'll let Gabe keep an eye on you. You clearly cared for each other a lot before you went to Hell."
Xaphan looked at Gabe with an inquisitive look for a while, then a look of realisation, before finally nodding.
"Gabriel? Gisg Med Drux Drux Med Gon Gisg Un Drux Gon Veh Van Ur Ur Un Na?"
Gabe shook his head "no, this is real. Pinch yourself. I promise you, none of this is a hallucination."
Xaphan gave himself a quick pinch, then hugged Gabe tightly, shaking a little most likely from fear. "It's gonna be alright, Xaphy. Home's.. well.. all the angels fell.. but it's okay, Xaphy. We'll kill Gusion. You can finally become an archangel, like me and Michael. This is your new home."
Xaphan whimpered as he tried his very best to speak a bit of English "o..thers? Wing..? You?"
Gabe sighed "the other archangels died, Xaphy. Ashy killed Raphy because he was hunting him, Luci's.. well, you know that situation. Gone."
"Ashy.. Castiel?"
Gabe nodded.
Xaphan looked around, then noticed Cas stood beside Dean.
"Cas? He?" He pointed to Dean very weakly
Cas looked to Dean, a smile on his face "he is the righteous man, who I fell in love with"
Xaphan blinked, then laughed. "Gisg Med Gon Gal Gon."
That wasn't a great idea at all (making him laugh).
Blood came from Xaphan's mouth due to his wounds, causing him to clutch onto Gabe, the pain being unbearable for him.
"Sparky, take him into my room, please. I can't heal him, but I'll try to tend to some of his wounds. Just.. let me grab everything I need, first."
Cas nodded and took Xaphan into his arms, carrying him to his room.
Gabe began to search for a first aid kit, grabbed it, then quickly headed to his room.
-Gabe's POV, slight time skip-
"Xaphy, you have to let me touch you, okay? If you don't, then I can't really help you and you'll be suffering forever" I placed my needle near one of the holes in his head.
Xaphan hesitantly nodded and so I began to stitch the holes up, regularly checking on Xaphan to see if he was alright. His face was grimacing, though he was now managing to resist the urge to flinch again. I moved down to his neck, did what I could with the wound there and applied ice to the bruises. I also erased his bond to Gusion. Once I was done, Xaphy embraced me, as his way of saying thanks, then asked me if I could perhaps grab him a drink. I nodded and got up and headed to the kitchen. I poured the water in the glass, gave Sam a bit of TLC (which included a hug and a kiss), then returned, immediately hearing screams of terror from my room.
