WEEK 6
PROMPT: "SEASON"Sing for spring, in full throated ease.
Sing a solemn song of a new beginning.
Of warmer weather and earth release.
The flowery beauty of no man's designing.Sing for summer in the wake of heat.
Sing a solicit song for the scorching sun.
Of relaxation and relenting beat.
The tanned skin and flesh are born.Sing for autumn in time of might.
Sing a sonorous song for the ripened harvest.
Of shorter day and longer night.
The holiday treats a man does invest.Sing for winter in the pitch of cold.
Sing a secret song for the Christmas bell.
Of whitened snow and games of old.
The happiness is all around as well. Each season with its programmed time.
Fading away in the end however.
This thought even as I write this rhyme.
Just a reminder that nothing lasts forever.
