I looked up at the pained Sky who smiled at me in the least.
The White Southern Birds with wings & tails of iron had passed by today.
They dropped their various shades of excreta which we lapped up with fervor.
Fighting amongst ourselves for the remains of a meal that was ours to feast.
The god of Rape knocked at the female chambers and Death brought many men to bay.
Past called me and I answered knowing that it was time to go back to the war. They broke the silence of the night with the sound of hoses that spat fire.
The hooves of their crawling horses crushing what the fire did not completely devour.
They flocked in like a swarm of bees and suddenly our defense led our flight.
Darkness sneered at us and our Safety turned into a liar.
Fear claimed more souls than the bullets who sang the anthem of war.
The Water we once drank retaliated against us in its full might.Blood became our garment and Pain made us a treaty to be our friend.
The Earth betrayed the fleeing feet of many submitting them to the feet
Of the Masquerades that danced the life claiming anthem of war.
I took no step but ran a thousand miles, anything on two legs spelt fiend.
The Wind whispered the songs of the fallen, I lost my heart beat.
The Bushes became my Jesus Christ, the rain on the ruins began to pour. Here I am sentenced to a term of an indefinite time.
By the Judges of fate, chance and eventualities, The Jurors of man,
Pride, unquenchable thirst for dominance, have put my sentence in drive.
Placed in the prison of fear, hunger, pain, drought, bereavement and crime.
I fought no fight, I robbed no bank, I shot no gun, I killed no man.
Innocent I was but yet in chains, my only crime was staying alive.
