"OVER THE WEEKEND, PAM AND I WENT FOR COFFEE AND SHE SPILLED HER GUTS." I informed Chloe. The camera crew nodding their heads. It was about four-o-clock in the afternoon and I was sat down in a conference room chair, telling the crew what I had apparently missed last Friday at the bar.

"So, Roy and Pam were giving it another go. Everything is fine and dandy, until Pam tells Roy that she and Jim kissed." I was talking with my hands, my lips practically scorching at this pipping hot tea. It was weird seeing everyone in the crew in front of me. Usually, they're scattered around the office in pairs. I huffed and slouched in my seat.

"Man, I missed so much." I muttered. I heard Doug and Billie's snorts, letting me know I didn't say it quiet enough. "But, I'm kinda glad I wasn't there. I've never been good with confrontation." I admitted.

"If you don't mind me asking, Hun, where were you instead of the bar?" Chloe asked softly. I looked up at her, meeting her dark green eyes. I took a breath, preparing myself to tell them.

"I was visiting my mom in the hospital, I don't really have that much time to do it as I'd like, so I try to get there whenever I can." I clench my jaw, awaiting their reaction. If there's one thing I hated more than peas; it's pity. But to my surprise and relief, they did no such thing. Chloe and Doug gave me proud smiles, while the rest of them just nodded in understanding. My eyes locked with Neil's, his puppy dog eyes diminishing every hope of having just a small school-girl-crush on this man.

My cheeks filled with a flush, my head quickly shooting down to hide my growing smile. It's such a shame I keep missing all of the knowing stares the crew gives the two of us.

"Halloween is the worst horror movie ever made and I'm standing by that statement till the day I die."

"Evie, you were like negative fifty-six-years-old when that movie came out. When I was a kid, I got nightmares from watching that movie."

"Jim. He literally walks everywhere. How on earth can you be afraid of a guy that has zero pep in his step?" I asked him with a dead face.

"That's why he's so terrifying, because even if you're running, he can still gettcha'." Jim spoke with a scared look on his face, slowly bringing up his hands to his neck to choke himself. I rolled my eyes at his gurgling sounds.

"You're an idiot, Halpert." I said through a smile. Jim stopped his fake dying and shot a warm smile up at me. I stood up from leaning on his desk, shrugging on my coat. Jim followed my actions.

"Is there a Phillies game tonight?" I asked in a hushed tone. Jim nodded and a suspicious smile worked its way on his face.
