"Aggro, I feel your pain, but right now you need to be strong! For Cutter!"  Dak, still rubbing Aggro, pulled her into his embrace, and hugged her tightly.

He then checked Cutter for any signs of breathing, as he had done with AggroNothing. Dak frowned.

"What wrong?" Aggro asked softly.

"He's not breathing."

"What?" Aggro's head shot up as she looked intensely at the spiky brown on the ground, as if waiting for something to pop up at her.

"Let me check his pulse." Dak put his hand on Cutter,s heart. "I think it's beating!"

"Phew." The little red dragon put her head back into Dak's lap and rested it there.

"But I don't know for sure."

Aggro's head shot up again.

"What was that?"

"What was what?" Aggro looked around but didn't see anything.

"There it is again." A faint sound could be heard as dragons swooped down. Luckily, it was just the other riders.

"Leyla!"

"Hey! Is Cutter okey?" Leyla asked, Summer Landing next to Cutter.

"I think his heart is beating, but he's not breathing!" Dak explained.

The girl walked slowly towards the Area Cutter's heart was located in, and put her hand there. "It's beating, but we've gotta work fast before cutter-well, you know. Good you have a cloth on the wound. Can you take it off for a sec?"

Dak carefully removed the cloth he had laid on Cutter before.

"It's pretty deep, and I don't have any of the medical stuff to fix it. I can't go buy anything because by the time I got back he'd be dead! If he was awake it'd be different but,"

"You can do something can't you?" Aggro looked at Leyla with pleading eyes

"We'd need a miracle for him to survive!" Leyla took Aggro over to the wall of the ledge and cried with her.

"Umm Leyla?" Dak called.

"Yes?" Leyla softly said.

"It's Cutter!"
