"𝐖-𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐀𝐌 𝐈? 𝐊𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐀? Alex?" Thalia called out, suddenly jerking awake as she shot up from where she was lying down on Karolina's lap in the back of Gert's car. Karolina, who was half asleep as she propped herself up on the cool glass of the window, widened her eyes as she saw Thalia had finally regained consciousness. Gert turned around, relieved to see the brunette awake as Thalia coughed hoarsely, blinking several times as she tried to clear her vision.
"Hey, hey...sit down," Karolina instructed sternly as Thalia lay her head back down on Karolina's lap, eyes boring into Karolina's as Karolina brushed a stray strand of Thalia's hair away from her face. "You're finally awake...do you remember what happened?" Karolina asked gently, stroking the brunette's baby hair that covered her eyes as Thalia shook her head miserably, irritated that she constantly found herself with gaps in her memory. Looking at Karolina from the mirror, Gert nodded grimly, asking the blonde to fill Thalia in as Karolina started to repeat the events; how Chase and Alex had fought, leading Thalia to explode, breaking them up with a fissure in the ground before passing out.
"Is...the laptop gone?" Thalia asked weakly as Karolina nodded sadly, pursing her lips together in dismay. "W-what now?" She asked quietly as both Karolina and Gert shrugged defeatedly, knowing they had no other moves. "Are we going home?" She asked sleepily, her mind still fuzzy from her usage of her newly discovered powers that led to her blacking out.
"Yeah...Gert's gonna drive you and me to your house, I'll stay the night with you okay? Don't even try to say no...you can't be alone in this state," Karolina replied as Thalia nodded tiredly, secretly very grateful that Karolina was going to be with her throughout this.
"We're here," Gert murmured quietly.
"Okay, c-can you walk?" Karolina asked softly as Gert pulled up in front of the Soleil residence. Thalia shrugged defeatedly, shaking her legs a little only to find her legs feeling all jelly-like as Karolina shot Gert a concerned look, causing Gert to climb out of her car, opening the side door to help Thalia out the door.
