"𝐖𝐀𝐈𝐓! 𝐒-𝐒𝐋𝐎𝐖 𝐃𝐎𝐖𝐍, 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 are you on about?" Thalia exclaimed as Karolina, on the other end of the phone, breathlessly explained the predicament Alex Wilder was in. Though surprised at first to see Karolina's caller ID once more after Karolina had just videocalled Thalia to show Thalia her newly discovered light powers minutes before, Thalia was in for even more surprises once Karolina started rambling about how Alex had gotten himself kidnapped.
"I'm sorry, Kar...but I can't just drop everything! I have Elias to look after, Karolina...I can't go out in the middle of the night to rescue Alex! As much as I love Wilder, my brother needs me," Thalia sighed in exasperation as the blonde groaned, displeased by Thalia's response. "Come on, Kar! What am I going to tell El? Sorry, bud, your sister's friend got kidnapped and she needs to go save his ass because he got himself into that mess?"
"Please, Tal! We need all hands on deck, Chase won't pick up either! We need to save Alex...w-what if...t-they have him?" Karolina pleaded desperately as Thalia sighed, knowing that she had to do whatever she could to save Alex. "Please, Tal...we need you to come too. It's just us girls since Chase is MIA and Alex's ass needs saving," Karolina continued to beg as Thalia groaned, knowing what she had to do.
"I know...I know. I'll be at...Timely, was it? Yeah okay, give me some time, I've to take the car but before that...I gotta tell Elias I'm going out or he'll be worried sick okay? Okay, okay...bye, Karolina," Thalia grumbled reluctantly as she hung up, walking down the hall to knock on Elias' door as she opened it to find the six-year-old lying on his bed with a notebook open as he scribbled on it.
"Hi, Tally!" Elias greeted, happy as always as Thalia waved, lingering by the door, knowing she had to make this quick. "What's wrong? Wanna draw with me?" Elias asked sweetly as Thalia shook her head, trying to find the best way to explain to Elias that she'd have to dip out for a little while and leave him alone yet again.
