Charlie's First Halloween (Prt. 2)

The next day, all of you went to a pumpkin patch in the countryside of hell, seperating Imp City from the other side of town. 

Charlie convinced everyone else to go with you guys. Angel and Niffty seemed to be the most excited besides Charlie. Maybe they didn't get to celebrate the holiday much when they were alive either. Husk just looked like a grumpy grandfather taking his kids out to the pumkin patch.

When you all arrived, Charlie and Niffty giggled with excitement as they stepped out of the car. Vaggie gave you a kind glance like she was thankful for this. It's definitely a break you all needed, but it's also more than that. 

Alastor said he would stay behind, saying that someone needed to look over the hotel while you all were gone. And he didn't want to scare anyone from enjoying themselves. Which is understandable.

You all walked through the patch together, roaming around to see which pumpkins you would all pick. You made sure to pick one out for Alastor too. The pumpkins were white 'ghost' pumpkins. You loved these kind, but your parents would always tell you to get the orange ones. But it looks like the orange ones weren't here. 

"I didn't realize there were pumpkins in hell!" Angel stated, looking at a fat pumpkin. Husk scoffed.

"You sluts never leave the city, so how would you know?" Husk picked up a normal sized pumpkin and put it in a small cart we were using. Angel laughed at his remark.

You searched for a pumpkin that you liked. You settled on a medium round pumpkin and put it in the cart. It was a bit heavy but now you needed to find one for Al. What size pumpkin would he like?

Niffty, Vaggie and Charlie came to the cart with their pumpkins as you were scanning the area for another one. Niffty's was the smallest followed by Vaggie's and Charlie's. Niffty then sat in the cart with the pumpkins.

"What are you looking for (Y/n)?" Charlie asked. 

"A pumpkin for Al. He can't be left out." You said, still looking over the pumpkins.

"What about this one?" Vaggie said, holding up a pumpkin that was tall and round. You nodded. It fit in a strange way. She set the pumpkin with the rest and Angel got his. It was on the smaller side.

"This one's for lil' Nuggs, not me." He said with a smile. He was a proud father to a little pig.

When you all got back to the hotel, carrying your pumpkins. the outside looked to be decorated halloween themed. You were stoked. Was this what Alastor was also doing while we were gone?

You looked over at Charlie and she was smiling brightly. It made you and Vaggie happy. This was going to be a fun week.

As you all got inside, you smelled something delicious cooking. Alastor came out of the kitchen with a bright smile and an apron on saying 'Kiss the Deer". You chuckled at his apron.

"What are you cooking Al?" You asked, walking over to him.

He looked down at you. You secretly cursed at him since he was so much taller than you are. " I'm making Jambalaya and Pumpkin pie for dessert. I hope that is okay with you?"

You nodded and started walking towards the living room. "I also picked out a pumpkin for you to carve."

Luckily Alastor had the living room prepared for the pumpkin carving. You all sit in a circle and begin your work. 

You all spent the rest of the day carving pumpkins and making a mess, sometimes throwing the pumpkin seeds and guts at each other. Even Husk was smiling this time, which was a very nice surprise. 

Angel couldn't help but make sexual jokes when he was pulling out the guts of the pumpkin and Alastor was talking about how the holiday went with his parents from what he could remember.

The following few days you were preparing for a small 'trick or treat' event that Charlie came up with, even though you gave her the idea. 

Each resident would have a small bowl of candy to give the residence who wanted to participate. It was as normal as Halloween can get in hell. And everyone seemed to enjoy it. Even the hotel guests loved the idea because it made them feel like a kid again.
