You're not really a powerful demon, hell you're kind of powerless without the use of Pentious's inventions he makes. But being powerful never really bothered you, you just had fun participating in the turf wars with him. Chaotic and fun. The type of intense energy you loved being apart of.

Today though, you and him were taking a day off from the wars, a much needed break. Since last time, about a week ago, you got injured pretty badly. Once Pentious saw you wounded he retreated, handing the win to Cherri and Angel. Even though you told him you could still fight, he refused to let you.

"Are you doing better, love?" Pentious asked, coming in with a cup of hot tea for you. You took is and nodded, though wincing at your still sore muscles.

"Yeah I'm getting better...but I'm still very sore. The bruises are starting to go away too!" You said. He nodded and sat next to you. "Though you don't have to stop doing turf wars because I'm healing you know."

"But they're more fun and entertaining with you around! Makes it more, worth while." He smiles gently at you. You smile back.

"Well they would be boring without you there too. We make a great team!" You exclaimed, sipping on the tea.

"yes we do (Y/n)! I wouldn't have a different partner if i even tried." He ide hugs you nd gently wraps his snake tail around your legs.

you snuggled a bit closer to him. Even though he spends a lot of time making machines and weapons, he always puts time aside for you and you love it. You wish you could help him with his inventions, but he won't let you do anything to straining till you're fully recovered. He doesn't want you to get hurt by an accident, and metal parts are usually heavy. 

"Could I help you make things when I'm better?" You ask, looking at him with puppy eyes.

"Of course my dear! It would go by quicker too." He stated.

You smile to yourself and set the tea down. "Then I hope to fully recover soon because I'm getting bored not being able to do anything." You slightly huffed.

"You know I don't want you to get hurt worse while recovering (Y/n)." He looked at you slightly concerned. You nodded.

Your stomach rumbled a bit. "Would you like some blueberry muffins?" You ask him. "I'll make them fresh!"

Pentious thought for a minute, what if you accidentally burn yourself? He shook the thought away, you're stronger than a little burn, and he's a bit hungry himself. "Sure! I'll help if you need it." You smile happily and stand up, forgetting that Pentious is wrapped around your legs. You almost fall face first onto the wood floor, but you caught yourself in time.

He unwraps his tail from around you and slightly panics. "Are you okay?! I sometime don't realize what my tail is doing..." He begins apologizing constantly and you giggle a bit, telling him it's fine and you're fine. He nods and you both walk to the kitchen to make some muffins.
