Chapter 6-The Free Homework Pass-Part 1 of ?

The next day at school, we had our first P.E. (Platforming Education) class. Everyone was warming up. Once we were done, Dry Bowser (our teacher) came over to us and said "Alright kids that are less awesome than me, let's get platforming!" He snapped his fingers and a platforming crash course appeared. There were lava pits, robot minions that worked like real ones, question mark blocks, and moving yellow platforms. "This is just a scrimmage to see how good you chumps are. We are going to do two at a time. It'll work like a tournament. The minion (or whatever you guys are) that crosses the finish line first, moves to the next round. Whoever wins the tournament, gets a free homework pass!" Everyone's eyes grew wide. Everyone wanted that homework pass.
I thought about that for a second. One stickin' homework pass? Whatever. It's still a homework pass.
The first match was Gommbella and DJGoomba. They started platforming. Goombella got ahead. "You're getting owned by a girl!" I said. Goombella tripped. DJ Goomba seemed like he was gonna take the lead but he tripped over her. They helped each other up. Then something strange happened. They stared at each other for about 30 seconds. "Do something!" Dry Bowser said. But something even stranger happened. They started kissing. Everyone's jaw hit the floor. I said to myself "Oh well. There are plenty of other cheep cheep in the sea for me." They eventually pushed away from each other. Dry Bowser said "What is this?! Go to Principle Bowser's office!" Yea he's our principle. They walked out of the gym. I guess Jacob's plan worked and that they're now officially boyfriend-girlfriend.
"Alright Bow and Jacob you guys are up!" They floated over to the starting line. Dry Bowser said "Don't think it'll be easier because you can float." He pushed a button on the wall. Bullet Bill cannons (I guess that's what they're called) appeared. Jacob said "Please, what'll those things do?" A bullet bill fired at Sonic speed and almost hit Jacob. "Woah!" "Alright, start platforming!" He blew his whistle, and the platforming began. Well, more like the floating began.
Jacob dodged a couple of Bullet Bills and dashed forward. He got ahead! "Go Jacob!" He turned around and said "Who said that?" A bullet bill hit him! The bullet bill carried Jacob all the way to the wall. Bow turned around. "Jacob!" She dashed over there. "Honey-boo! Are you ok!?" I said "I can't figure out if that's a really bad pun, or if you actually call him that." "Be quiet! He's hurt! Oh come here Jacob. She kissed him on the cheek." Dry Bowser said "Ugh not you guys too! Just get back to platforming!" They started kissing too. Some of the class thought it was cute. Some of the class just rolled they're eyes. I couldn't decide what to do.
Dry Bowser yelled again "You two! Go to Principle Bowser's office!" They floated out of the gym. Jacob went to the nurse's office before going to the Principle's office.
"Is everyone gonna kiss each other today? Let's just choose two boys." Two kids walked in and said "What's up we're the new kids!" One of them said "I'm Mega Alex son of Mega Man and Samus!" And the other one said "And I'm Solider Riley son of Captain Toad! And we are ready to platform!!!" Dry Bowser said "Fine. Get over here chumps." Solider Riley took off his backpack (so that he could jump) and ran over there with Mega Alex. "On your mark, get set, GO!!" Mega Alex turned into a ball, and started rolling. "Cool!" Solider Riley started running really fast! They came across the first obstacle, a big wall. Mega Alex blew wind towards the ground, and it boosted him up! He grabbed on the top of the wall. He pulled himself over the wall. Solider Riley did a flip on to his head, and rebounded over the wall! They kept running. They came across a banzai bill! Solider Riley plucked a super tiny turnip, and threw it at the banzai bill! It died.
I yelled out "You're so cheep-cheep!" They kept going. They came across a bunch of robot minions. Mega Alex put his arms up in the air, and charged up electricity. He fired it at one of the robots! The robot got electrocuted and died. The electricity traveled to other robots and almost all of them got shocked! Solider Riley took care of the remaining minions. He took out the blue pick-axe his dad uses. He hit every one of the minions except for one of them. His time with the pick-axe ran out before he could hit it. He dived at the robot and gave it a headbutt. The robot went flying towards the next obstacle, the lava pits. The robot fell in.
They walked over to the lava and looked down at it. They looked nervous. These moving platforms appeared. They started jumping, and jumping, and jumping! More robot minions appeared when they got half-way through! Mega Alex shot them with his arm cannon! Solider Riley picked one up, and ran away. All of the robots chased him in a straight line. He threw the robot at the front of line, and all of them started to fall over like dominos. Solider Riley jumped on each of them. They kept going. They came across the last obstacle. It was tough, it was mean, it was.....
A rabbit. Like those rabbits in Super Mario 3D World. Dry Bowser told them "Go! Catch it!" They both said "No." Dry Bowser said "Why not!" They said "because we're teenage athletes, I think we can catch a bunny." Dry Boswer said "Well apparently a red plumber, a green ghost catcher, a blue mushroom, a princess who gets captured too much, and a galactic princess that can control stars sometimes have trouble doing that!" "No." "Fine, I'll change it." He snapped his fingers and identical shadows of Mega Alex and Solider Riley appeared! "Dude, this is platforming class, not a "kill every bad guy" class." "Do you have to be negative about everything?" He snapped his fingers again. The floor below them turned into falling platforms! They started running. The shadows started punching Mega Alex and Solider Riley. The shadows ran away because the platform was starting to fall! Mega Alex and Solider Riley were laying down on the platform as it fell. They got up, and jumped back onto the non-falling platforms!
Mega Alex charged up a shot, and fired it at his shadow! His shadow used his arm as a flamethrower and used it on the shot to hold it back! He held it back for a while, but eventually the shot ran right through the flames! The shadow dodged. Solider Riley took out a double cherry, and ate it. There was two of him! The two of them took out double cherries, and ate them. There were four Solider Rileys! The Rileys started running around the shadow Riley. The shadow tried to watch, the Rileys, but they were too fast! And they were split up into different places! The shadow spun around and got confused. The Rileys ran towards him, but before they could get there, the shadow Riley got up, plucked a turnip, and threw it at one of them. He threw two more, and the one Solider Riley was left. The shadow Riley kicked Solider Riley!
Solider Riley and Mega Alex looked at each other. It was time to team up.
Solider Riley plucked a giant turnip, and gave it to Mega Alex. He set it on fire! And gave it electricity! He threw it at the shadows! They were defeated. A bridge appeared. So did the finish line. It was a simple foot race now.
They both started running and running and running and running and running-but it was a photo finish! "Wait do we even have the kind of equipment for a photo finish?" Dry Bowser said "Of course!" He snapped his fingers. A big floating TV appeared. It was a photo of Mega Alex an Solider Riley finishing. Solider Riley came out on top! Everyone cheered!
"Alright quiet down! Solider Riley, you'll be versing the winner of the race between Chris and Broshi!" "Oh no." He looked at me, and gave me an evil smile. Time to platform.
