The Story of Drishti

Final Week Dilemma - Drishti's POV

The next day at work I feel shy to walk in.
Yes it was because the all handsome Prasanth was there.
I know I have a boyfriend, sorry a fiancé, but Prasanth is something else
Who says you can't be friends with a guy?
Just cause I'm engaged?

When I enter the interns office Prasanth waves and gives me a wide smile while the girls giggle.
"You two are getting along, hope this doesn't mess with our responsibilities" Siddharth gives an approving look
"Don't hesistate sit, work and private life are completely separate" I assure
"Plus she is engaged" Prasanth says
That was the truth but for some reason I hated hearing him say that.
"Yes I know" Siddharth says
"Hmmm" I say
Prasanth however doesn't even seem bothered that I'm engaged, and even though both of us knew there was atleast we had a tiiiiiiny crush on each other, he was smiling as though we were really just friends.

nah that's what we are.

When Siddharth walks out I hear him whisper to Prasanth "girls like these" with a laugh and Prasanth laughs agreeing

"Anyways guys. Lets get to work, there is so much to do, ugh im already so fed up" Hamesha sighs

"Girl theres only a week left" Fereni reminds

Our internship has been going by so fast. Now only a week was left before we have the anual  new innovations show held here in this city. All the best business leaders from around the city will be participating, and especially since we are representing Siddharth Cooperations it was extremely important that we put our best foot forward. 

And who knows, maybe if we do good enough, Siddharth might even hire some of us to work here.

And since I am the team leader, there was a very high chance that person will be me, of course, that is our team does exceptional.

"Guys it may be our last week but we cant slack off now. Everything is almost done, but we must keep tryin to improve what we have, atleast so that we dont let our Siddharth" Honestly I say

"Of course you dont want to let him down suck up" Harish sighs

"Harish" Hamesha spits

"Focus" Prasanth reminds everyone

"Thanks" I say and proceed to explain everyones daily tasks

Though this was the final week of our internship, I must admit since I handled everything so well, there was not too much to be done last miute. I must say, this project is surely successful. 

Whilst I find my self logging onto instagram, I immediatly see Prasanth walk up behind me

"Boss on Insta?" He jokes

"This is my mini break" I reply with a smirk

"Hmm I dont blame you, but I wanted to ask if these are okay" He says showing me some of the poster designs for our stand at te innovatiosn competition.

"Um I think these" I say pointing to a couple

Prasanth is really as 'diligent' as Siddharth had said, I asked him to come up with a few possible posters just to see what suits our vibe, but instead he has shown up with more than 10 designs.

"Okay, but lemme let you in on a secret, you wanna hear" He whisper in a funny tone

"Sure" I revert

"This is my personnal favourite" He says pointing to a very elegent looking one

It was simple and elegent with  apinch of class. Perfect for our innovation, after all we wanted to make something high value that was also eco-friendly.
