As I'm going over the files in my office, my fine ass assistant Tammy walked in. "Mr. Lopez, your 9 o'clock is here" she said. "Okay, send them in please" I said to her, watching her ass as she nodded and walked away. I shook my head getting my mind out of the gutter. "The things I would do- " I started saying before Mr. Drew walked in.

"Ahh Mr. Drew, welcome" I said getting up to shake his hand. "Oh please, call me Yuceff" he said sitting down. "Okay, Yuceff. I was reading your file, and I must say we have some work to do. Tell me again what happened?" I said walking to the front of my desk to lean on it. "As you know, I am running for State Senate" he paused and I nodded my head. "My campaign has been threatened to be tainted by this young girl, Alex Perry, who has very compromising footage of me at a swingers party. She once worked for me in previous settings, and was fired for misconduct in the workplace, and has since had a vendetta against me. She sent me the footage with a note saying 'Pay me 500k or I will send these to your opponent and your reputation and campaign will come crashing down' and I don't have that kind of money to just give away. So, I need your help" he said defeated.

I sat there, stroking my chin hair thinking about his story. "How long did she give you?" I asked. "I have until 9am tomorrow. That's when the next party has their press conference at City Hall" he said. "What am I gonna do Lopez, I can't lose this race" he said holding his head. "Okay. The first thing I ask of my clients is to tell me the truth. I don't care how ugly it is. I cannot set out to help you and then have something else pop up along the way that would ruin all our progress. So, I will ask you this one time, and one time only; is that everything I need to know?" I said to him sternly. He gave me a look of uncertainty. "What is it Yuceff?" I asked getting slightly irritated. "There's something else" he paused. "Go on" I said.

"Well, when she was fired, it was because we were hooking up at the time, and she started telling people about it and the word started spreading like a wild fire. So, I paid another employee to set her up to get caught so that the rest of my employees think that she was just mouthing off. She found out about it not too long after, and I told her that it was better this way so that we could keep seeing each other, and I didn't want word to get out before I filed for divorce from my wife" he explained. "You mean, your current wife?" I asked confused. "Yes, I am still married, but I have been sleeping with Alex since I told her I was getting divorced but I never went through with it. So, one night she came to my house unexpectedly and my wife answered the door. Thank God she didn't blow my cover, but the following day I got that message along with the footage. I don't even know how she got it. It was years ago. But the issue is, those girls in that video were wearing my campaign merch for my previous race. If this gets out, I will be ruined." He said with a look of worry on his face. I looked at him, disgusted an understatement, but I had to sensor my feelings as my clients need to feel like they can tell me anything.

"Alright. Tell you what. You gather as much funds that you can in the mean time and stay on standby. I will do everything I can to keep this under wraps. However, I am prepared for damage control should things spiral. I will keep you updated, but I have another client coming in" I said standing up as he stood up with me. "I'm trusting you Lopez; my career is on the line" he said shaking my hand. "Everything will work out" I said giving him a pat on the shoulder of reassurance. He nodded walking out. "Fucking pig" I said under my breath closing the door. I walked over to my desk to call my IT guy that works downstairs. I gave him the information so that he can dig up anything on Ms. Perry and Yuceff's opponent as leverage.

When I got off my phone, Tammy was at my door with my next client. I opened the door for them and got started on my meeting. Sometimes I ask myself why I got into this in the first place. The things that people would pay to cover up was beyond me.
