Jesse

I was in my meeting with a potential manager for my Vegas casino that is about a month and a half from opening. I figured if I really wanted to make some money, there would be the ideal place to open a casino since that's mainly what people go to Vegas to do; well that and drive-thru weddings. I wanted to hire someone that I could leave my business with and make me a huge profit. I've interviewed like three people so far and I was not impressed. This was my last interview of the day. This guy was on his shit. He came with a lil presentation and everything. He had the right look and he definitely had the knowledge for running a business. I think I might have found my manager.

"Well Mr. Stone, I must say that I am highly impressed. You may have secured yourself a managerial position at my casino" I said leaning back in my chair playing with my chin hair. He didn't even look phased as if he knew he was gon walk in here and kill it. I like that, definitely the kind of attitude I need on my team. "Thank you, Mr. Lopez. It would be a pleasure to have the opportunity to lead under your instruction." He said giving a slight bow with his head. "I will be contacting you in about two weeks on the ETA of the grand opening. In the meantime, I need you to come up with some strategies to draw in more customers as there is a ton of competition in Vegas" I said standing up closing my folder. "Yes sir, I will be right on it" he said gathering his things as well. "Thank you for your time, I will contact you soon with my strategies and I look forward to hearing from you" he reached his hand out for me to shake. "Great" I simply said shaking his hand before walking out my office. He walked out after me and I closed and locked my door before walking to the elevator.

"Tammy, hold my calls for the rest of the day, I have an emergency to take care of with my brother. He's always up to something" I said walking towards her desk. "Sure thing Mr. Lopez. Oh and Bryan brought up the files you asked for" she said handing them to me. "You've been working for me for 3 years now, you know you can call me by my first name right?" I said taking the folder from her. "I know, but I'd rather keep it this way. First name basis welcomes personal conversations and I'm just not comfortable talking about certain things with me boss" she said giving me that awkward smile you give when you don't know what else to say to a stranger. I chuckled shaking my head. "Alright Tammy, you got it. But if I need to talk about something, you better be ready to listen" I said walking to the elevator. "Yeah yeah" I heard her say. I smiled to myself impressed that after so long, she never once made a pass at me. Kinda made me want her more, I thought to myself biting my lip. My phone vibrated in my pocket drawing me out of my thoughts. It was a text from Ryan

Ryan: Nigga where you at?

Jesse: I'm coming nigga damn. I just left the office. What's so important?

Ryan: You'll see when yo ass get here

Ryan: Matter fact, come to the spot.

I looked at my phone confused. We only go to the 'spot' when shit is too dangerous to discuss at our homes or my office. What the fuck did this nigga get himself into, or better yet, what did he have to show me.

Jesse: Copyy

I got in my Tesla S, turning it on. J Cole- Trouble started playing, and I bobbed my head turning it up. Cole was definitely at the top of my list of faves. Man is a lyrical genius. I got on the highway on my way to the 'spot'. It's really just a clearing of land between a bunch of big trees that me and Ryan found when we were younger. It's about 15 minutes outside the city. We used to go there when we wanted to get away from everyone, but now we use it for shit like this.. I don't think anyone ever stumbled across it. I wouldn't be surprised since it's been years since we found it.

Ryan

I sat in my BMW M8 actively checking my surroundings. We had to park in an abandoned parking lot near where the 'spot' is. We couldn't physically drive to it because it's trees in the way. I looked in my rear-view mirror to see Jesse pulling into the lot, so I got out, taking the box with me. "Took yo ass long enough" I said to him as he got out his car. "Man shut that shit up. What you gotta show me, and why you made me come out here" he said walking over to me. I showed him the box.
