Gram's POV;

Eve came speed walking back to the ship.

It was strange to see her back so soon, so I approached her.

The men who could carry others had already left with most of their brothers in their arms. A few Jedi were searching the ship for any type of hologram from the Sith Lords. It still sent shivers down my spine thinking about how that awful excuse of a man working for the other side.

The second she noticed me she sighed and put her head on my chest.

I could feel my heart racing but I ignored it. I know she couldn't feel it through my armor.

"This is going to become a common occurrence, isn't it?" I asked in the calmest voice I could muster.

"Mmhmm." Eve hummed looking up at me.

Her eyes suddenly widened in surprise and confusion.

"Why are clones so kriffing tall?!?" She cursed out noticing that her forehead was only resting on my heart.

I laughed at her realization. She was quite tall for a human. I guess she never realized she was smaller near a clone.

She let out an annoyed huff at my laughter. Then she joined in.

Her laugh was loud and hard to contain. It was rare that I heard her true laugh. I couldn't help but smile at that thought. She could smile more with him gone. We all could.

"Eve!"

Our moment of peace was interrupted by the orange tourguta. Wasn't her name Ahsoka or something like that? Either way Eve quickly took a step away from me.

"Hey 'Soka.."

Even while using that nickname she sounded off.

"I thought you had work to do?"

Eve stiffened. She looked..... scared.

Without thinking I jumped in.

"As I was saying Sir, we have already cleared the ship but the men could use your presence to lift their spirits."

Eve blinked. "Yes well I guess we better get on that! Talk later Ahsoka!"

Eve hurried off towards the barracks and I matched her pace.
