Cassie enjoyed teaching her students about Potions. This subject was quite tricky. One slip up, one wrong measurement, and the whole thing could blow up. She was glad to see kids interested in the subject. However, of course, there were always those few kids who were terrible and she could finally see why Snape was so frustrated with teaching their class, especially with Fred and George.
"How about along here?" asked Cassie as she put the orange and yellow streamers across the ceiling of the great hall.
"That's great!" Thomas replied with a smile.
"Could you set up some pumpkins along there, Hermione?" Cassie requested. "Have Ron assist you." She looked around for the redhead but he wasn't anywhere to be found. "Where is Ronald?"
"Oh... um, I've no idea," Hermione replied, unsure. "He must be studying— "
"Yes, because Ron loves to spend his time reading books in the library," Cassie remarked. "He should be responsible as a prefect."
"In general, he should be more responsible," Hermione added. "You know," she began after some time. "The Hogsmeade trip is coming up. Will you meet up with Fred?"
Cassie shook her head. "He's probably busy," Cassie told her. "Being Halloween season and all. I'll just be supervising. I'm still part of the Order, I still have other duties outside of teaching."
"I know there is something on your mind when I see you. Even now. You shouldn't push away the people you love," Hermione said.
"I'd suggest you do the same," Cassie smirked. "Confess your feelings to Ron. Otherwise, it will be too late."
"What? Ron? I don't— "
Cassie scoffed. "Come on, 'Mione. You two bicker like an old married couple. Obviously, you admire him and so does he. I'm not blind."
"Well, how did you do it?" Hermione asked. "Confess."
"Well, erm... we sorta kissed... "
"So I have to... " She looked terrified.
Cassie laughed. "No! I mean, you could, but I'd use my words instead."
"When did you and Fred start making it official?" she asked. "You two kissed on Christmas."
"It was the first Hogsmeade trip after the Yule Ball," Cassie answered, remembering the day. "My advice to you is if you won't confess soon, at least keep him close. He'll realize his own feelings soon enough."
"Thanks," Hermione smiled. "Now, let us finish this last corridor."

"You should see Mundungus Fletcher there," Dumbledore told Cassie. "I suspect he's been up to no good. See to it that he brings back the belongings of your family."
"What has he been doing?" Cassie asked. "Stealing?" Dumbledore nodded slowly. "That little thief... " Cassie muttered on her way out.
"Hey!" Thomas greeted. "Are you going to Hogsmeade?"
"Yeah," Cassie said. "I'm meeting with someone."
"Who?" he asked.
"A... a colleague," Cassie answered.
"Need company?" he asked.
"Um, no... I'm fine," Cassie told him. "You shouldn't get tangled up into it."
