Yuki
At first, I thought it was an ordinary dream. It had a nice essence to it, like you could only have happy thoughts here. Flowers were scattered everywhere. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I opened my eyes and there was a woman sitting in the flowers. I nearly jumped out of my skin. I tried to ask what she was doing but my voice wouldn’t say anything. I then tried moving. I was stuck. I couldn’t move or talk, what kind of dream is this?
"Mommy!" a little boys voice yelled, and then jumped into the woman’s arms laughing. She held him close and tight, as if, he would disappear.
The boy picked up the basket of flowers and threw the petals into the air. They both laughed as the colors hit them. They looked... happy. The woman was-is beautiful. She had long, wavy black hair, almost like silk. She was tall, with olive skin. Her moves were graceful. Just as I got some of my movement back, I tried to reach for her. Then, the image changed. I was back in the meadow, but something was wrong. My eyes went big with horror as the flames danced around me. Everyone was running, at first I thought they were looking for water.
What are they running from? I thought. My mind flashed to another scene. It was all up in flames. I was running. I looked up to see the woman dragging me and another kid with her. They were both scared. I don’t understand, what’s going on? I wanted to say, but the words wouldn’t come. I was slower than them, so I got picked up by the woman. Then, it hit me. I'm seeing everything through this kids eyes! We were almost to the edge of the forest when the other boy tripped. The woman put me down to help the other boy. Men in weird uniforms started to surround them. They pulled and punched at, both, the boy and the mother. I stood and stared. My legs were shaking with fear, the woman looked directly at me. She was saying something, but I couldn’t make out the words. Me staring at the woman, gave me this feeling like I've see her before in photos. Mom? I thought. I knew it was a long shot, but they look exactly alike, unless mom had a twin. My hearing came back and everything filled up with screaming, gun shots, and cries. I only caught one part of what the woman was saying, but it was good enough to haunt me for the rest of my life.
Two words, " run... Yuki." Then everything flashed and I was now looking out of the woman’s eyes. I nearly jumped out of my skin as I looked at the boy. He was small, black hair, olive skin... a spitting image of me. The only difference was, our eyes. I have gold, he had her eyes. At that moment everything went black. I opened my eyes and nearly fell out of bed. I was soaked and cold to the bone, my body started shivering. I grabbed my chain and pressed it to my burning chest. The boy, the boy was me. It had to be, but, what did it mean? I thought, bringing my knees to my chest. I felt a hand on my bare shoulder and looked up. Everyone was standing (or sitting) in my room, looking down at me.
"Kiki, are you okay?" Sugars worried voice echoed in the room.
"Yeah Kiki, you look like you seen a ghost. What’s wrong, are you okay?" Ember asked.
I shook my head. I felt tears stain my cheeks, someone lifted my head and I saw Sayu's worried face. Romeo gripped me in his arms.
"What happened?"
His soft voice gripped at my body, then it let me go. I calmed my breathing and told them the dream. By the end, I had everyone on the edge of my bed.
"Wow. That’s one strong dream," Mei announced. Sugar climbed into my lap.
"What does it mean?" she asked. I gave a sigh and brought my hand to my head.
"I don’t know, but I think I know who might," I said. Captain flew down and landed on my shoulder. (Yes, her wing's healed. Now I have a pet falcon, awesome). Shino stood up.
"Let’s go find out then."
