Josie's POV

I woke up to the warm sun spilling across my face, Hope curled against my chest. I smiled, fingers tangling lightly in her hair. "Morning, princess," she murmured, her voice still heavy with sleep.

"Morning," I replied softly, pressing a gentle kiss to the top of her head. "How's your leg?"

Hope lifted her shirt slightly, revealing flawless, fully healed skin. "Leg's completely fine now," she said, smiling. "No trace of yesterday's chaos."

"I'm just glad you're okay," I whispered, but a sudden knock at the door made us both jump.

"Who knocks on your door on a Saturday morning?" I groaned, sitting up.

"I have no idea," she said, glancing at me with a sleepy smirk before standing to answer the door.

Hope's POV

When I swung it open, Lizzie stood there, holding a plate of brownies like some awkward peace offering. "What do you want?" I asked, tone dripping with sarcasm.

"I come bearing gifts," Lizzie announced, striding in and placing the plate on the dresser.

"Who invited you in?" I asked, exchanging a confused look with Josie.

"I wanted to apologize," Lizzie said, her eyes locking on mine. "Can we talk in private?"

I glanced at Josie. "Uh... sure," I said, and she gave me a worried look before slipping out.

I turned back to Lizzie. "So... what did you want to say?"

"I... I'm sorry for yesterday. I was angry, jealous..." she started, hesitating.

"It's fine. I forgive you," I interrupted, forcing a calm smile. "I can't stay mad forever."

"Thank you," Lizzie said, offering a brief hug before stepping out. I sighed and shook my head, glad that little drama was over.

Josie's POV

When we headed to breakfast, Lizzie followed, but I mostly ignored her. That morning, my mind was still buzzing from everything that had happened with Hope.

Later, when my dad called her to his office, she kissed me quickly. "I'll meet you after," she whispered before slipping away.

I stayed behind, holding a small note from Penelope. My stomach twisted as I read it, but I quickly shoved it aside, deciding not to dwell. Hope's safety and our night together were all that mattered.

Hope's POV

I walked into Alaric's office, trying to ignore the pit in my stomach. He looked up from a pile of papers, eyebrows raised.

"We found the third Malivore artifact," he said, voice serious. "There's a new monster on the move."

I swallowed, nodding. "Understood."

He gave me one last warning look before dismissing me. I walked back to my room, relief washing over me as I saw Josie waiting there.

Josie's POV

When Hope returned, she held my hand. "Princess," she said, smiling, "I have a surprise for us."

That evening, she led me outside the school gates. My jaw dropped when I saw a sleek red Bentley parked at the entrance.

"It's mine," she said, smirking.

"Are you serious?" I gasped, wide-eyed as she opened the door for me.

"Absolutely," she said with a grin, and I could only laugh as she dragged me inside.

We drove in silence for a while, then suddenly, the car stopped in a secluded, wooded area. Hope jumped out and opened my door. "Milady," she said, bowing theatrically.

I giggled at her antics, curtsying in return. She grabbed my hand and led me deeper into the woods until a massive, magical treehouse came into view.

Hope's POV

I watched Josie's face light up like a kid on Christmas morning. She threw her arms around me in a huge hug. "Thank you! Thank you!"

I chuckled, pulling back. "Do you want to go in?"

With a gleeful bounce, she dashed up the stairs. I followed, punching in the magical code to unlock the door. Her gasp as she stepped inside made me grin.

"How did you do all this?" she asked, eyes sparkling.

"A little magic, a lot of love," I whispered, leaning in to brush my lips against hers.

Josie's POV

The kiss quickly escalated into something more passionate, our mouths moving together with growing urgency. Her hands traced over my body, and soon we were tangled on the soft blankets, clothing slowly discarded.

The sensations overwhelmed me as Hope explored me with skillful, teasing touches. I moaned into her mouth, fingers tangling in her hair. Every touch, every kiss drove me higher, her fingers and tongue alternating between gentle and demanding, leaving me gasping for air and begging for more.

We moved together, lost in the pleasure we created, the connection between us electric and unbreakable. Her lips, her hands, the taste of her, it was intoxicating, consuming me entirely.

Even as we climaxed together, the intensity didn't fade. I felt her blood mingle with mine, our powers and bodies entwined in the most intimate way possible.

"I love you, Hope," I whispered, exhausted and blissful.

"I love you, Josie," she replied, eyes shining with affection.

Hope's POV

Afterward, we rested, bodies tangled, hearts racing. Later that evening, I showed Josie the arcade room in the treehouse, laughing and joking as we finalized the protective spells.

"So, first spell keeps this place hidden from everyone but us," I explained. "Second one paralyzes anyone who isn't us. And the last... well, that's just to keep it ours. No one else can know about it."

Josie nodded, a small smile on her face. "Completely fair. We deserve our own space."

Relief washed over me. We returned to school that night, exhausted, teleporting straight into my room to escape Lizzie and Dr. Saltzman's barrage of questions. We crawled into bed, still buzzing from the night's magic and intimacy, the world outside fading away. Here, it was just the two of us, and nothing else mattered.
