HOPE'S POV

Josie was still sleeping peacefully, and I decided to head down to the kitchen for breakfast. Of course, I forgot we had no groceries. Just as I was about to head to the arcade, my phone started buzzing with incoming text messages.

*Perfect timing,* I thought, already feeling the anticipation of the day ahead.

I raced upstairs to wake up Josie.

"Baby," I said softly, shaking her gently.

JOSIE'S POV

I stirred from a peaceful slumber, blinking up at Hope. The warmth of her body enveloped me, and I instinctively pulled my clothes back on, still slightly disoriented. Hope leaned in and whispered a spell that made me look presentable, as if she hadn't just thoroughly rocked my world.

TIME JUMP: IN THE CAR

I sat in the passenger seat, humming along to the music, my gaze fixed on my beautiful girlfriend.

"What up, princess?" Hope said, smirking at me.

That damn smirk of hers ignited a fire in my chest. "Nothing, mommy," I teased back, letting my playful side shine through.

I noticed her eyes flash gold, and a low growl rumbled in her throat. The energy in the car shifted, sending shivers down my spine.

A wicked idea sparked in my mind. I cast a blackout spell, ensuring nobody could see into the car while we could still see out.

With a daring grin, I pulled down my pants and underwear, my heart racing with excitement. I began rubbing my clit slowly, letting soft moans escape my lips as I watched Hope grip the steering wheel tighter, her knuckles turning white.

I continued teasing myself, quickening the pace of my movements. Hope's eyes darkened with desire as I let out louder moans, watching her reaction. Just as I was about to tip over the edge, my hand froze, refusing to move.

Turning to Hope, I smirked. "What's wrong, baby?" I teased, trying to mask my frustration.

"Guess you're not the only one who can play," she replied, her voice sultry. Suddenly, my hand started moving at an inhuman speed, igniting a surge of pleasure that overwhelmed me.

"Oh God, Hope!" I moaned, feeling myself spiral toward ecstasy. Just when I thought I was about to explode, everything stopped. My clothes magically returned, and Hope hopped out of the car, leaving me speechless.

HOPE'S POV

With a smirk, I opened Josie's door. I couldn't help but laugh at the look of confusion plastered across her face. She glared at me playfully, and together we walked into the school, hand in hand, radiating happiness. But that happiness evaporated as soon as we stepped into my room.

"WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU GUYS BEEN?"

"I WAS SCARED OUT OF MY MIND!" Freya shouted, her worry palpable.

I was prepared to let her rant, but then I noticed the expression on Josie's face, and a wave of anger surged through me.

My eyes turned golden, and a low growl escaped my lips as I glared at Freya.

"Hope, you need to calm down RIGHT now," Keelin intervened, stepping closer to me, concern etched on her face.

I took a step forward, ready to defend Josie, but then I felt her hands drawing shapes into my back, soothing the storm inside me. Instantly, I relaxed, melting into her embrace as she whispered sweet reassurances into my ear. I nuzzled deeper into her neck, seeking comfort in her presence.

---

FREYA'S POV

Watching Josie calm Hope down filled me with warmth despite my irritation. Their love for each other was evident, and it brought a smile to my face, even amid the chaos. After a moment of silence, Keelin finally spoke up.

"Okay, girls. Josie, we've talked to your father about you and Hope coming to stay with us for a little while. If that's okay with you?"

Josie nodded, cuddling deeper into Hope's side, clearly pleased with the arrangement.

"So go pack; we're leaving tomorrow," I said, trying to gently nudge them apart.

Josie started walking out the door with Hope close behind when I grabbed Hope's arm, pulling her back. She looked at me with annoyance, mouthing something toward Josie before closing the door behind us.

Without looking at me, she muttered a spell that magically packed her suitcase.

"Hope, what was that?" I said sharply, trying to regain control of the situation.

"What was what?" she replied innocently, feigning confusion.

"Don't play dumb; you know exactly what I'm talking about."

She crossed her arms, a smirk playing on her lips.

"You made my girlfriend sad, which made me mad. What else is there to explain?"

"You can't just let your wolf overpower you like that," I cautioned, knowing how dangerous unchecked emotions could be.

"Oh, I understand now," she said, her smirk widening. "When I show emotion, it's my wolf taking over? Well, let me make one thing clear: yes, my eyes flashed gold, but that was all me. If you pull that stunt again in front of Josie, then we'll really have a problem."

With that, she stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind her.
