Lizzie's POV

Lizzie woke up in a dimly lit cell, confusion washing over her as she looked around. "MOM! DAD!" she yelled frantically, her voice echoing off the cold walls.

Her parents rushed in, their expressions a mix of concern and readiness to confront. "I'm sorry for what I did! It won't happen again!"Lizzie blurted out, her tone betraying her insincerity.

"Elizabeth, until we can figure out how to rid you of this demon, you're staying here. We need to ensure everyone's safety,"Alaric replied firmly, his voice leaving no room for argument.

In an instant, Lizzie transformed into her demon side, her anger flaring. "NO! I will not be locked up like some animal!" she shouted, defiance radiating from her.

"Well, you don't have a choice,"Alaric shot back, his voice serious and unwavering.

Hope's POV

Back at the TreeHouse, tension filled the air as I paced anxiously. "I think you should talk to your aunts at least, they deserve a chance to explain," Josie suggested, trying to keep me calm.

"They don't deserve a chance! I'm sure there are even more things they haven't told me,"I replied, my voice a mix of anger and sadness.

Josie looked up at me, her expression filled with concern. "What aren't you telling me?"I asked, locking eyes with her.

Josie sighed, her smile fading. "Your Aunt Rebekah has tried to have your father killed twice. Once, she used a man named Mikael, and she was also going to stake him when Marcel was involved. Your Aunt Freya tried to stake him too."

My eyes lit up with anger, realization crashing over her like a tidal wave. Almost all her family had tried to take away the person who meant so much to her.

In a flash, I jumped up, snatching her car keys and throwing Josie over my shoulder. They sped back to the compound, my determination fueling her speed.

I leaped from the car, grabbing Josie's hand and rushing inside. "Hope! Thank God! We were worried sick!"Freya exclaimed.

"Get away from me, and just bring everyone to the living room!"I snapped, her frustration boiling over.

In the living room, I quickly pulled Josie into my lap, wrapping her arms around her waist protectively. The atmosphere was thick with tension as everyone approached, their faces etched with worry.

"We'll start with you,"I said, glaring at Marcel. "Why the hell did you not only kidnap my dad, forcing him to be away from me for years, but also try to kill him multiple times?"

"Hope, I am so sorry—" Marcel began, but I cut him off.

"I don't want to hear any of that bullshit! Just tell me!"

"Your dad has done some horrible things, and I wanted revenge. I've realized what a huge mistake I made by keeping him away from you."

"What do you think, love? Does he sound sincere?" I ask Josie, her tone dripping with skepticism.

"I don't know; let him continue,"Josie replied, her eyes darting between me and Marcel.

"You may continue," I said with a smirk.

"I'm sorry, but don't you think this should be a family-only matter?" Davina interjected rudely.

"Yeah, I do. Which is why you're only here to get information," I shot back, barely holding back my anger.

Josie rubbed my hands, trying to soothe her.

"Again, I'm sorry. The other time, I was scared of him becoming the king of New Orleans, so I did what I thought was best,"Marcel explained, his voice filled with regret.

"Uh-huh," I whispered, my anger flaring once more. "Just wondering why you didn't mention that Rebekah was with you, ready to stake him?" my eyes began to glow yellow, signaling my fury.

"I-I-I..." Marcel stuttered out, clearly on the verge of panic.

I then turned to Rebekah, smirking. "Care to explain?"

"Love, it was a hard time, and your dad, he—"

"Don't speak on my father!" I interrupted, my voice sharp.

"I don't give a damn. Did you or did you not try to kill my father?" I demanded, glaring at Rebekah.

"Yes, I did, and I regret it every day," Rebekah admitted remorsefully.

"Good,"I said, smirking with satisfaction. "And you—what's your excuse for taking my father away?" I directed my glare at Marcel.

"I was angry and wasn't thinking straight," he confessed, his tone filled with sorrow.

"FOR ALMOST SIX DAMN YEARS! DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU TOOK FROM ME?"I shouted, my voice breaking with emotion.

"I'm so sorry, and if I could take it back, I promise I would," Marcel said, looking down shamefully.

"FUCK YOUR APOLOGY! ALL I NEEDED WAS A NORMAL CHILDHOOD, AND YOU TOOK THAT FROM ME!" I yelled, tears brimming in her eyes.

At this point, all the Mikaelsons looked remorseful, except for Davina.

"Hope, you need to breathe," Freya said, concern etched on her face.

"Don't think I don't know about you, but honestly, I'm over it," I said, casting a look at Josie and Freya.

"So here's what we're going to do," I said, wiping her eyes and smirking again. "Davina and Marcel, I want you out—at least for now—until I can trust you again."

Marcel nodded, turning to leave, but Davina interjected.

"Are you all really scared of a little teenage girl? She's nothing but a freak of nature who can't hurt anyone!" Davina sneered.
No ones POV
At that, both girls stood up, their hands joined in solidarity, anger radiating from them.

"I mean, look, she even has a freak girlfriend to go along!" Davina continued, still smirking.

In unison, Hope and Josie glared at her, their powers flaring. Hope snapped her wrist, and Josie set Davina on fire with a spell.

"Any other questions? No? Okay, bye!" the girls said, marching upstairs.

"Baby, I'm exhausted," Josie said, yawning.

"Okay, love, come lay down," Hope replied, jumping onto her bed.

"I love you, Hope Mikaelson," Josie murmured, snuggling close.

"I love you, Josie, future Mikaelson," Hope responded with a smile, watching as Josie's eyes sparkled before she drifted off to sleep.

Back in Mystic Falls

Lizzie was still in the cell, her frustration boiling over.

"LET ME OUT OF HERE!" she screamed, her voice raw from yelling for the last hour.

"Elizabeth, you have got to stop yelling," Alaric said, exasperated.

"NOT UNTIL YOU LET ME OUT!" Lizzie shot back defiantly.

"NOT HAPPENING!" Alaric yelled, slamming the door shut behind him.

Determined, Lizzie stood up, switching to her demon side. Using all her strength, she broke open the cell door and escaped.

"AHNT AHNT AHNT!**" the alarm blared loudly, sending adrenaline coursing through her veins.

Caroline and Alaric rushed in, both realizing at the same time. "She escaped!"

"Time to find those bitches and kill them," Lizzie declared, stepping outside the school gates with fierce determination.
