Chapter 2- Frenemies

Park Sihyeon POV

I had a long day and months of school ahead of me. And there he was to make it miserable yet remotely fun.

"Fought with Heeseung over some random topic again?", she asked. "You know it Miyeon. We established what we are to each other today." "I always knew you two liked each other. And what may be the relationship between you guys?", she looked at me with gleaming eyes. "Ew no. FRENEMIES. We are frenemies.", I snickered. "Frenemies, my foot. You got me excited over nothing!", she pouted.

"Hey, you guys!", two excited girls made their way to us. "Hey! I guess you were late a little today huh Nayoung?" I raised an eyebrow at the girl in glasses.
Being very very very passionate about punctuality, she was visibly offended by my comment. "Stop making fun of me Sihyeon! You know how I have a pet peeve for people who are tardy!", she complained. "Fine, fine I'm sorry.", I said hugging her seeing the smile on her face. "Umm, are you both going to talk to us too or do you want us to leave?", Miyeon and Yoona asked. "No no no, what do you want to talk about?", we asked as someone entered.

Lee Heeseung POV

I saw her and her friends talking and thought there was no better opportunity to start my irritating in the first period itself. Laughing internally I made my way to her thinking of what's to come now. "Hello, *FRENEMY*!!", I said trying not to show a smile on my face. She was already bothered. I don't know why I am so easily amused by her reactions. "What now Heeseung?! I barely finished complaining about you to my dear, dear friends.", she said sighing loudly. "What? Can't I ask my deskmate to come over before class starts?"

"Yeah you can, I mean I don't think I should have to spend any more time looking at you than I'm forced to, but very well. Let's go." "Good! Bye girls!", I said winking at them. "I don't know what crime I committed in my past life to be partnered with you.", she said almost in a whisper. "What'd you say? Hmm?", I asked obviously knowing what she said but still asking to irritate her. "Nothing. I'm saying nothing.", she said.

The bell rang and the teacher entered. "Students, quiet down! I have an announcement to make." "You will have the next assignment as a group project. Prepare a detailed summarization of both the World Wars from Germany's point of view." "Submit the project within the next two weeks as you complete it." "What are the groups sir?",a student exclaimed as the class was booming with chatter. "Your deskmate will be your partner. If that's all the questions, I'd like to continue with the lesson. Open up to page 73."

"I look forward to it, Park Sihyeon.", I said giggling thinking of all the fun I'm gonna have.
"Perfect. Just perfect.", she muttered.

This is gonna be so much FUN.
