*(Hey peeps! Sorry I've been MIA for the past few weeks but I'm busy with school work. Recap for the last chapter, Sihyeon states she likes Heeseung after hilariously finding it out from her friends at the sleepover! Enjoy Heeseung's big revelation now!❤️)*

Lee Heeseung POV

After dwelling on my thoughts about Sihyeon and sorting out my feelings, I came to the wise decision of ignoring it and getting advice from my idiotic friends, who by the way, know nothing about relationships. So, I'm pretty much doomed. Welp, that's a problem for another day.

Time skip to Saturday

"Hey dude. Took you long enough to call us over. The last we've hung out is two days ago.", Sunghoon said in an accusatory tone.
"That's what I'm saying. Not to be mushy and all, but I missed your annoying self.", Jay said ever so sweetly.
"Quit pressuring him. I mean since when are we so close that we need to talk every day, every hour and every second. We're his friends not his family.", Jake said being the only sane one, but a tad bit dramatic?

"Okay. Whatever that conversation was. Make yourself at home. I see Jay has already gone to the kitchen to make something to eat, not that it's new.", I said.
"Hey! If y'all lecture me one more time about eating!", Jay said looking like the red angry bird, with the eyebrows and all, if you know what I mean. *(I'm sure ENGENES definitely know what I'm referring to!😂)
"Okay, chill. In other news, I finally updated my TV. So GTA? What say?", I said putting my hands up surrendering to Jay's wrath.
"Yeah, yeah. Let me change and see how I best you, Mr. Ace.", Jay said with a certain determination in his eyes that had me kind of scared.

Only Jay could be as sweet as he is, and then nag us all the next second. Only Jay. Actually, I seriously had awesome friends. Sunghoon could be my long lost brother for that matter. It's not even funny how identically crazy we are. And Jake is just so innocent, that it actually hurts how adorable he can be. He came from Australia about a year ago, and has settled here amazingly. I admire this little genius.

Third Person POV

After another round of arguing between Heeseung and Jay, Sunghoon being aloof in his own world and Jake calming all of them down, the boys finally settled down in front of Heeseung's TV with a pack of doritos and some root beer, courtesy of the only responsible one, Jake. After a painstakingly heated debate over whose fault it was in crashing the car, they decided to go over the agony again and play another round. Boys will be boys.

After calming down Jay who was pissed at losing for the second time after acting all high and mighty, they settled down for some man to man talk before watching Supernaturals III. Considering their ages, they were, quite surprisingly, as close as a clique of popular middle school girls. They hadn't talked to Heeseung much in the last few days, and for them, it was LONG.

The three of them were practically joined at the hip since preschool and Jake was the perfect addition to their irresponsible family. Jake, Sunghoon and Jay definitely knew something was up with their innocently unaware jerk, Lee Heeseung. And man did they intend to get it out of him. They knew it was related to Sihyeon, the one who had proudly taken the place of the lovable frenemy in his life. Having strategically planned their intervention and how they were going to ease into the conversation, they decided to let Sunghoon start. Which was definitely a mistake.

"So what's up with you and that Sihyeon girl? Do you like her or something?", Sunghoon asked rather nonchalantly.
And that right there is where their subtle plans flew right out the window.
"What he means is, is she your friend or maybe something more or..? Just tell us what's on you mind.", clenching his fists, making a mental note to kill Sunghoon later, Jay asked.
"Yeah, yeah. That's what I meant.", Sunghoon said letting out a sigh, kicking himself for messing up the plan.

"Umm. I mean she's a good friend.", Heeseung said evidently flustered, his cheeks turning to a shade of crimson.
"Just a good friend?", Jake asked raising his eyebrows smirking at him. Never had anyone thought to get this reaction from this adorable child.
"You don't think she's pretty or..?", Jay said trying to make Heeseung understand that he indeed likes her.
They loved him and all, but man could he be stupid. And mind numbingly annoying.

"Well, she is pretty. Especially her beautiful, brown, doe eyes."
"Her sense of humor is awesome. And she's the only one who has comebacks to my irritating comments that are actually good.", he continued.
"She's smart, kind and her fashion is also pretty good.", Heeseung was in his own world right now, with the three of them staring at him with their jaws open.

"What?", he asked noticing their gaping mouths.
"Do you not get it or something?", Sunghoon said wondering if his friend was actually this ignorant or just downright dumb.
"Get what?"
This comment had everyone shocked. Was he just pulling their leg? Jay was getting mad, evident from his flaring nose. And surprisingly, Jake was also glaring at his best, but ever so idiotic, friend.
"I think we'll have to tell him, or he'll never learn.", Jake stated while the others nodded in agreement.
"At least the poor girl won't suffer.", Jay said stifling a laugh, blissfully unaware that Sihyeon was exactly like Heeseung.

"Hello? Can someone fill me in? Unless you want to continue the conversation about ME and MY friend.", Heeseung said with a sarcastic tone.
"SHE'S NOT YOUR FRIEND YOU IDIOT!", they shouted all together startling him.
"Huh? Then?"
"You so like her. Have you heard yourself talking about her? Not to be mean, but I almost dozed off at your monologue of 30 minutes right now.", Sunghoon said hoping to all the Gods in the world that Heeseung finally gets it.
"I do? I mean I had considered the possibility.", he admitted.

"Then what made you throw the brightest idea you've ever had in your entire life out the window?", Jay said letting out a huff of satisfaction on the note that their friend, had finally understood.
"Nothing. I just thought it'll be weird between us. Don't you think so?", he said with a frown of worry on his face, playing with his fingers on his lap.
"Obviously not. She likes you too. And to quote Nayoung, you'll look cute!", Jake said making his voice into a high pitch at the last exclamation.

"Since when do you speak to Nayoung?", Sunghoon intervened.
"Not the time. One person with a crush at one time.", Jay said making Jake blush ever so slightly.
"So, I like her. I LIKE HER.", he said out loud. And from the smile on his face, he absolutely loved what he heard.

*I like Park Sihyeon, he thought.*
